Variety reports that Home Box Office has picked up a second season of the musical comedy Flight of the Conchords.
The quirky hit is popular among young viewers, an elusive demographic for the premium cable channel.
If you haven't seen/heard of Flight of the Conchords yet, it is more than worth checking out. The show follows real life New Zealand musical-comedy act Flight of the Conchords, Bret McKenzie and Jermaine Jemaine Clement, as fictionalized versions of themselves. Hilarity and mini music videos ensue as the "starving artists" deal with breaking big and a wonderfully inept agent.
