Nowadays, we don't see too many TV movies on broadcast television-it seems they're all regulated to cable TV. Anyway, I have an idea for a future telefilm:
Oklahoma City Tornado- I don't think they have yet made a TV movie about the May 3, 1999 killer tornado that struck the Greater Oklahoma City area that killed 36 people(total number of casualties from that tornado outbreak is 44). Any TV movie, based on this catastrophe should focus primarily on the strength and resolve of those who survived the tornado, the emergency crews who assisted in helping the victims, the daring storm chasers who chased the tornado and caught it on tape and in addition to the storm chasers, the main characters in the TV movie would be the on-duty Sheriff, who immobilizes his department, during the storm and a TV weather forecaster, who warns Oklahoma City about the killer tornado. The movie would be dedicated, not only to the survivors, but also to the memories of the victims of the May 3, 1999 killer tornado.
I know there would be other telefilms, based on real-life crimes, but aside from that, we don't have enough comedic telefilms or telefilms that are primarily focused on mainstream adventure(rescue missions, survival, breath-taking airflights, auto races, etc.). If anyone has any ideas for future telefilms, please start posting.
