Anyways, good rant, Solomon! The only problme I had was you were a little too focused on FOX. There are other channels that do the same thing. NAN, for instance would change the weekend schedule, and not tell us about it until the day before. So, that day, I did not get a chance to go on the internet, and when I turned to NAN, I saw a Fresh Prince marathon instead of the normal schedule! But, that's just one example.

I really loved the turn the channel moment of the week. I would have to agree that that was the exact moment. I was watching that episode in the morning, and I was just thinking "how dumb can you get?"

Good rant Solomon, but I agree, it's not just Fox that does it. Also, I watch Fox News, and they don't pull any last minute switches that I'm aware of. I know their lineup like the back of my hand. I know you're not political Solomon. Who's your editor, lol. Nick and TV Land are the worst offenders ever. They have no respect for their viewers.

I know more stations do it, but it maybe a station I don't watch which is why I was open to hearing if anyone else on the board is going through the same thing with another station. I watch one show on FOXNEWS, "the Oreilly Factor"

I can't tell you how frustrated I've been at times when I tune into Nick. I'm all ready for 12 consecutive episodes of Fresh Prince, and INSTEAD, I get 12 consecutive episodes of Roseanne or The Cosby Show.

But is the problem with the station or with the cable provider and their GUIDE INFORMATION? I mean, are you referring solely to the cable guide information or are you using a TV Guide and station websites to find out what is going to show?

I have learned that the guide information cannot be relied upon. So, is that the cable provider's mistake or the station that is making changes at the last minute?

BTW Solomon, I agree, I don't want to know that Kelly Ripa DOES NOT wear underwear. Tell me it is John Travolta who doesn't wear underwear and I am ALL EARS!!!!!:D :cool:

Kelly wasn't saying she doesn't wear underwear, she was saying that it was just that one day-lol STIll TMI

And Comcast Cable Guide is always updated and not only that, when I discovered I recorded something else, I fast forwarded to the follwing day on the comcast guide and saw that it was a new FXR schedule.

I *think* I know what you mean....Do you mean when you, or someone else, is getting ready to watch Friends or Seinfeld, then all of a sudden you hear the Sex and The City or Everybody Loves Raymond theme songs playing?

Nick at Nite, FX, TNT, TBS, and apparently that FOX channel, all seem to throw any show on, without actually having it in that timeslot, daily. That REALLY annoys me.

GSN is a big culprit of "musical timeslots" too. Instead of dusting off a show or two from the vault, they just flip-flop shows during their recent schedule changes. It's happened three times already. Like for the previous schedule change, they took off two shows and re-acquired the rights to another. That was one thing. But it didn't make sense at all to basically change the time for damn near every show on their daytime schedule. Right now their schedule looks like they just picked every show out of a hat and put it on the line-up.

Fox Reality almost got me again his week-lol Something said check the morning schedule on Monday and I saw that instead of showing a hour of blind date and extreme dating, they showed a marathon of So you think you can dance? Just checked the schedule for tomorrow and it's back to the regular schedule. Musical Timeslots

It is nice. I love me my George Jefferson. I will take Jeffersons over Roseanne or Cosby simply because I can see those shows anytime on different channels, but Jeffersons, who knows how long it will be on TVland before it gets the 4 a.m. hour or taken off altogether.
