Moore says: “I think it’s a very ripe subject for someone like me to make a movie about. Simply because we are not there yet and it remains one of the last open wounds on our soul that we are not willing to fix yet,” Moore told The Advocate. “There is nowhere in the four Gospels where Jesus uses the word homosexual.’ The right wing has appropriated this guy … and they have used him to attack gays and lesbians, when he never said a single word against people who are homosexual. Anyone who professes to be a Christian and does that is certainly not following the teachings of Jesus Christ.”

He's a media whore, just like Eva Longoria. They have the constant need to get attention, no matter what.

I agree. The thing about Moore is, he likes to rile people up and skew his films to make you think you are seeing the whole picture, when in reality, you are just seeing an Op Ed piece.

This time, he is going after religion.

God, I so agree. I hate them both. Eva to me is just a whore, she then moved on up to media whore.

I'd see it. He's well within his rights to criticize one of the more shameful aspects of extreme religion. It'll get interesting when he interviews the "Reverend" Fred Phelps.

Of course what he does is an Op-Ed piece. He does documentaries with a point of view.

I wonder... are those who don't agree with a heterosexual's life style a "heterophobe?"

Anyway, as Mark Levin says, "Michael Moore is a nut and he's made millions being a nut."

As long as Moore doesn't assign that whacko Phelps to the Right. We detest him as much as anyone. As for Moore's point of view. That's one thing. What Moore does is bend facts, distorts and lies by outright omission to support his agenda. Sicko claims that Cuba's healthcare is superior to the U.S. Nowhere in his fakeumentary does he tell the other side of Cuban healthcare, which is like something out of a Stephen King novel.

Religion has the right to be criticized if it lends itself to intolerance. I'd definitely see this movie.

Wolf Blitzer is a jackass anyway. Doesn't he go off on everybody he interviews to some extent?

Blitzer didn't go off on Moore at all. It was the other way around.

I couldn't say. I didn't see it. All I know is that I have less respect for Wolf than I do most news people(and that's saying a lot!)

As for Moore, I don't know. I've never really watch a movie of his in full. Can't judge there either.

Hold on. I just saw it on Youtube. Here's what I think about it.

Michael Moore strikes me as a cynical man who's frustrated at the direction the world is going. He certainly doesn't handle interviews as well as he could, but neither would I and neither do many people.

Essentially, there are Michael Moores on both sides of the political spectrum. It's unavoidable when you have people with such passion in a field of driven off of passion such as politics.

It's one reason I don't usually go too deep into political discussions anymore. It's not worth it. It only riles nerves.

Not a bad guy, I'd say. Just a man under a great deal of stress. Doomed to remain such due to the nature of his career. But he did calm down as the interview progressed.

That's my limited take on the situation.
