Chapter 1

25 year old Scott Tracy was so excited. As a reward for saving Lady Penelope's life back in London, Jeff said he could visit any year he wanted. It was such a very hard choice for him as there were many eras he wanted to visit. He did have to stay within Hill Valley though. He then realized the year that he wished to visit.

"So, Scott," 21 year old Virgil said smiling. "Have you made up your mind yet? Did you figure out which year you would like to visit? Just remember that it has to be here."

"Dude, I understand," Scott replied. "I was thinking that I would really like to see the year 1958? It would be so interesting to see what Hill Valley was like while our grandpa was recording there at the time."

"1958?" 19 year old Gordon asked stunned. "Why do you wanna see 1958? I mean, I really don't understand what's so special about that year? The '50s is so not my favourite decade to get nostalgic over. We already went back to the 80s 2 weeks ago? I really believe that the culture of that decade was a lot more exciting. So why 1958, Scott?"

"Well, 1958 was the first year Grandpa Ben moved to Hill Valley," Scott replied. "I find it fascinating that he was actually on tour with his old rival Hal Taylor at the time. The year was also when he filmed his third movie Built For Speed. I'd like to see what the overall culture of that time period was like too. It could be fun."

"So are you sure about that?" 15 year old Alan asked. "We could go there is you really wanted to. There was no pop-punk or hip hop back in the era. The music from that era was all stuff like rock 'n' roll, doo wop, jazz, blues and jive. A lot of that music might just bore the crap outta you."

"That's okay," Scott said smiling. "I like music of that era too. We could even stop by a movie theatre and see what that was like. I really wanna see what Grandpa and Grandma were like back in the day!"

"Okay," 14 year old Tin Tin Belegrahnt said sighing. "If you're totally sure this is what you want. The thing is we've seen Brains and your dad in 1983. We need to think of some really good aliases for us to use."

"You mean a name to identify ourselves with like in those Back to the Future movies?" Scott asked. "I'd so totally love to be Philip Winchester then. He's my favorite actor after all."

"Well, I really enjoy Philip Winchester too," 13 year old Fermat Hackenbacker replied. "But I d-d-don't that's a totally rad idea. After all, I'm not too keen on him. How would you like to be Justin Timberlake? I think that would be such a nice name for you."

"I've got a totally awesome idea," Scott exclaimed. "I'll be Marty McFly! He's my favourite guitarist of my favourite rock band Marty McFly and the Pinheads. So, Virgil, you'll have to be called Bruce Dickinson, Gordon, you'll have to be called Robert Plant, Alan, you'll have to be called Joe Elliot, Tin Tin, you'll have to be called Joan Jett and Fermat, you'll have to be called Dexter Holland. You know, I kinda wish I thought of using Billie Joe Armstrong which is a really good name for a really great vocalist."

"This sounds like a really awesome idea," Virgil replied smiling. "What are we gonna say to Grandpa as soon as we see him? It'll be totally weird to call him Mr Tracy."

"Yeah, we know that feeling," Gordon replied with a small smile. "During the week we were in 1983, we were slipping up on what to call Dad. Scott, we know it's important to remember that Grandpa doesn't know about time travel in 1958."

"Okay, I understand," Scott said nodding. "I really don't wanna risk creating a time paradox. I know that, if it wasn't for Back to the Future and Bill and Ted, then I never would've got into the time travel thing."

"The situation with us is pretty unique," Alan commented. "Sure, going to the year 1958 is okay with you then?"

"Yeah, I guess," Scott replied. Suddenly, he gasped. "Oh my God, I just realized something! This was the year that Elvis Presley also toured Hill Valley! Grandma's family had moved to Hill Valley a few years before and Grandma was a big fan of Grandpa's. I guess I would like to visit that year."

"Okay then," Virgil shouted as he was jumping up and down. "Let's go, Gang!"

"Well, we need to dress up in some era-appropriate clothes first," Scott replied. "We need to check and see what Brains left in his chest. We'll need to make sure to have the proper currency for the era too. It's pretty important that we come prepared."

"So you guys all wanna visit the year 1958?" 23 year old John asked a little stunned as the gang all entered the lab. "I guess I won't stop you from seeing Grandpa in concert if that's what you really wanna do."

"Awesome," Scott said happliy. "I understand that no one know about time travel back then. I guess we'll have to be pretty careful."

"Boo yah," John replied. "You guys be sure that you mind Grandma and Grandpa and that you do what the hell Scott tells you to do. Okay?"

"Sure thing, John," Virgil replied nodding. "We'll do whatever the hell it is that Scott wants us to do."

"Oh yeah," John said smiling. Turning to Scott, he added "You must've seen Back to the Future again, eh? What aliases have you two decided on? You guys oughta pick something that'll be easy to remember."

"Oh, I'm gonna be Marty McFly," Scott explained. "Virgil'll be Bruce Dickinson, Gordon'll be Robert Plant, Alan'll be Joe Elliot, Tin Tin'll be Joan Jett and Fermat'll be Dexter Holland."

"Okay then," John said smiling. "Let's find some clothes for you guys to wear back to 1958 and I'll get all you all packed up for the entire week. If anything happens to any of you, it's important that you go back to 2011 right away."

"Okailly dokailly, John," Scott said smiling. "I guess 1958 was one really big year for the Tracy family. It'll be nice to see Grandma and Grandpa in that year. I suppose we could eat out at Lou's Cafe for supper tonight."

"Okay, Scott, remember to go back to this very date in 1958," John explained. "Those suitcases might be rather heavy for the others to carry. Are you sure you couldn't just arrive right in front of Lou's Cafe?"

"It's okay, Johnny-boy," Scott said. "I can handle it. I may be a bit taller than you guys but I've carried heavier crap before. So, John, I bet Doc Emmet Brown must've been living by himself during that year."

"Yeah," John replied. "Brains said that Doc Brown's lived in Hill Valle since the day he was born. I think you might see Marty McFly's folks back then but if you see them, tell them you're not related to George."

"I'll look so forward to seeing Grandpa back then," Virgil said excitedly. "Do you think we might let Gransma bump into him? I can really imagine how he felt when they first met."

"It ain't those Back to the Future or Bill and Ted movies but it helps," John said smiling. "Okay, Folks, brace yourselves for temporal displacement."

Scott took in a deep breath as John accelerated the DeLorean to 88 miles per hour.

Chapter 2

"Okay, Gang," Scott said as he landed the DeLorean at Hill Valley Park. "Why don't you head right on over to Lou's Cafe and I'll catch you over there later. If I meet either Grandma or Grandpa, I'll tell them what we're all wearing."

"So you'll be finding both our paternal grandparents?" Virgil asked with a look of confusion. "So, while you do that, what'll happen to the rest of us?"

"The timeline'll just change around us like in those time travel movies," Scott explained. "And when we were in 1983. So everyone keep your pants or skirts on! I'm sure we'll all be okay! I'll catch you guys at the cafe later."

"Okay, Scott," Gordon replied as he understood what Scott meant. "You would think that after 2 weeks of time travelling, we'd be able to understand this whole concept of time travel upside down and backwards. In fact, these fourth-dimensional trips in those Back to the Future and Bill and Ted movies must be rotting your brain right now."

"I won't feel too bad, Gordon," Scott said reassuringly. "Time travel can be pretty confusing for yours truly to understand and I know we spent a whole week in 1983. Anyway, you guys go to Lou's Cafe and I'll find either Grandma or Grandpa. This'll be totally important for us to remember, okay?"

"Got it," Alan replied. "I guess we'll catch you later then. We'll be sure that you do what you tell us to do and not to call Benny 'Grandpa'."

As Scott headed into the Courthouse Square, he was quite amazed to see that the town looked very similar to the way it did in 1983. One huge exception was that the Statler company still was selling Buicks. Suddenly, he heard that clock from the clock tower chime 4:15 PM. Scott smiled at the pleasent melody.

Oh my God, is that Grandpa Ben? Scott thought as he noticed a young man dressed as Elvis Presley with red hair and green eyes. He could tell right away that this person was none other than his gandfather Benjamin Cartwright Tracy and he was only 18 years old.

"Hi there, I'm Benny Tracy." the redheaded Elvis wannabe said as Scott walked over to him. Looking at Scott, he added "You look pretty much like Elvis, you know. Are you related to him?"

"Fat chance, Benny," Scott replied remembering to address this version of his grandfather. "I'm Marty McFly, no relation to your roadie George. Some buddies and I were planning to say in town for a week. I've heard so much about you! So I gather you're filming a new movie here too?"

"I sure am," Benny said smiling. "It's called Built For Speed and I'm glad Hal Taylor's not in it."

"Yeah, me too." Scott replied with a cryptic smile.

"Well, maybe I should try to meet these pals of yours," Benny suggested. Before Scott could respond, Benny added "So have you got a band of your own, Marty?"

"Not really, Benny," Scott replied as he and Benny walked towards Lou's Cafe. "So, uh, do all of your fans enjoy meeting you?"

"I'm pretty sure they do." Benny said smiling.

"That's, like, so cool, Benny." Scott said with a little bit of nervousness.

"Would you guys like something to drink?" Lou asked as Scott and Benny entered Lou's cafe and he walked over to the table. He handed out seven big menus to Scott, Benny, Virgil, Gordon, Alan, Tin Tin and Fermat.

"Do you have chocolate milk?" Fermat asked looking at Lou. After Lou nodded, Fermat added "I'll have a chocolate m-m-milk then. I would like it in a very big glass, please."

"Me too." Tin Tin and Alan said together.

"I'll have a Pepsi." Gordon replied as he noticed that he had looked a bit like his own paternal grandfather.

"Me too." Scott, Virgil and Benny all said.

With that, Lou quickly wrote down everyone's orders and left the table. Benny then turned toward the gang and explained "My pal Izzy Bennett's planning to stop by for a little visit this evening with his sister who runs my Hill Valley fan club. Her name's Jennifer but prefers to be called Jenny and she's a cool chick. I think you'll really dig her."

Scott's heart skipped a beat with the mention of Jennifer Bennett. He remembered that this woman was his beloved paternal grandmother who had had a cush on Benny when he was famous and then married him.

"Are you and your gang okay, Marty?" Benny asked feeling rather concerned. "Anyway, I guess we oughta decide what it we wanna eat. I'm so hungry, I could, like, eat a horse."

"Yeah, that's quite all it is, Benny." Virgil replied covering as he began to glance through the menu. After a few minutes, he finally decided he would order a burger with fries. Thinking of just how delicious the burger would taste suddenly made Virgil's stomach growl with hunger.

"I might have a cheeseburger with fries," Gordon said. Turning to Scott, he asked "Sc... Marty, do you thnik I look a bit like Gran- I mean Benny?"

"Yeah, a bit," Scott said as he looked from Gordon to Benny and back at Gordon. "Why don't we all have burgers with fries but just fries for Fer- I mean Dexter 'cause he's a vegetarian."

"I'll just have the fries then," Fermat said eagerly. "D-d-don't worry about me, Benny, I'm okay."

"Are you sure you can eat just the fries, Dexter?" Benny asked concerned. "It don't sound like a lot of food for a kid your age. You oughta order something a little bigger."

"Believe me, Benny," Alan interjected. "He's a vegetarian as Sc- I mean, Marty said. When it comes to fries, boy, can he really eat a lot of 'em?"

"Well, like, cool then," Benny replied with a little smile. "At least it ain't just candy that he wants to eat. I know several of my fans who actually would eat nothing but candy all the time if they could. Dexter's folks must be pretty proud of him!"

"Oh, I could guarantee that." Tin Tin said smiling.

Just then, Lou began to head their way again. Scott's stomach began to growl with hunger as he stared at the Pepsi.

Chapter 3

Scott felt a very strong sense of deja vu as soon as Benny finally drove them home. This was only about 25 years before the gang would actually stay by the house for the very first time. Scott and Virgil sighed as they both realized just how confusing time travel was. Virgil wondered if this might actually affect his initial visit in 1983.

"Okay, Gang," Benny called out. "There's a few bedrooms upstairs. You cats can, like, sleep wherever you wanna. I'm gonna take a bath before Jenny comes over this evening. I got sodas in the refrigerator if you're thirsty."

As Benny headed upstairs, Scott caught sight of something on the mantle. There was a small framed photograph that had Benny performing on stage. While the picture wasn't coloured, it appeared that Benny had the same red hair and green eyes Gordon had. Inscribed on the bottom of that photo was the following words: "Benny Tracy: Live from Miami, May 12th 1956." Scott sighed to himself as he went to carry the suitcases upstairs.

"Yo, Scott, you feeling okay?" Virgil asked as the whole gang headed up the stairs together. "You seem pretty stressed. Is something bugging you?"

"Actually, yeah," Scott said sighing. "Do you remember how Grandpa Ben mentioned Grandma Jenny? The thing is, though, I already know how they'll end up getting married in 1960 shortly which was a year before Dad was born. I can't exactly warn him about it though!"

"If he didn't marry Jenny though," Gordon pointed out. "Dad, Aunt Andy and Uncle Lou'd never be born. So it's good that his relationship with Grandma Jenny works out."

"I understand that, Gordon," Alan said quietly. "That's not the point though. The point is this is gonna be totally sweet to him. I understand that he doesn't know about time travel so we can't exactly tell him that we're time travellers."

"I guess I see what you're saying, Alan," Tin Tin said softly. "The very hard part'll be that we actually gotta call her 'Jenny'. Otherwise, your grandpa'll think that we're totally being rude and I can't stand to have him think that."

"Yeah, well," Scott said sighing. "I don't even know when Grandpa Ben asked Grandma Jenny out for the first time. It might happen this week but at least we could 'em some empathy and support. I just feel bad that I can't prepare him for it though."

"Let's just grab some s-s-sodas and relax for a little while." suggested Fermat.

"Yeah, okay then." Scott replied as he and the gang headed back downstairs. Scott was a little nervous of how he might act around the 1958 version of his paternal grandmother. He felt rather helpless.

A couple hours later, Scott's heart was beating wildly when the doorbell rang. He could tell right away that Jennifer Ann 'Jenny' Bennett, who had Jeff and Scott's dark hair and blue eyes, came to visit. Could Scott even bring himself into a sincere state of politeness towards this young woman who would soon marry Benny?

"Hey, Jenny," Benny answered as he opened the door. "Why don't you come on inside? I gotta a few visitors that I really wanna to introduce to ya, dig?"

Scott swallowed hard as he, Virgil, Gordon, Alan, Tin Tin and Fermat all walked up towards Benny and Jenny. Scott forced himself to smile politely towards Jenny as she smiled back at him. She rather appeared to be nice enough but Scott knew what his grandmother told him about his grandfather's rockabilly past.

"This is Marty McFly," Benny continued as he put his hand on Scott's shoulder. "And these are his gang Bruce Dickinson, Robert Plant, Joe Elliot, Joan Jett and Dexter Holland. They're spendin' this week with us. While Marty ain't related to my roadie George McFly, I figured that he'd wanna jam with me and the guys sometimes."

"That sounds kinda hip, Benny," Jenny gushed. Turning to Scott, she added "Good to see ya, Marty." To the others, she said "You guys are pretty cool to me too. I hope me and Benny have a kid like Marty someday!"

"Thanks, Jenny," Virgil said smiling at the woman. "So, uh, what singers do you like other than Benny? Do you happen to dig Elvis?"

"Well, I think he's pretty cool," Jenny explained. "Benny here was never too big on the guy or that square Hal Taylor but Benny can really make anything seem hip."

"Thanks, Jenny," Benny gushed blushing. Turning to the gang, he said "I'm invitin' you cats and chicks to see me film Built For Speed but my band the Thunderbirds are gonna be my band in that movie. So, Marty, would you happen to like Elvis? I supprted him on tour last year and he's pretty cool."

"Uh, yeah, I like Elvis," Scott replied smiling. "Bruce happens to really enjoy listening to Elvis too. We, like, saw Jailhouse Rock last week."

"Oh, really?" Benny said smiling. He smiled at Virgil and said "You sound like a pretty hip cat. I sure hope I get kids and one of 'em gets a kid like you. I'm still tight with Elvis and he's tight with me too."

"I wouldn't feel too bad, Benny," Scott reassured his grandfather. "From what I heard, he's doin' a movie called King Creole. I'm quite sure that you'll be a pretty cool songwriter one of these days."

"Marty here's right," Jenny agreed. "A lot of these famous rockabilly cats've gone through thousands of tries to make movies like Elvis."

"Yeah, I try hard to remember that," Benny said sighing. "I even had this pleasure of meeting Gene Vincent a few times and he encouraged me. I guess I sometimes become easily discouraged 'cause my manager O'Hara thinks I'm a bit too moody."

"I'd just ignore what Old Man O'Hara says," Jenny suggested. "Anyway, how about you perform in Hill Valley Park. It is such a great evening, and we could really enjoy the stars and the nice cool breeze blowing over us."

"Yeah, I'd love that," Benny gushed. Turning to Scott and the gang, he added "Is it hip with you if Jenny and me amscray for a few hours? And don't stay up late. We gotta wake up early tomorrow so that we can make it to the Built For Speed movie set on time."

"Uh, yeah, go ahead," Scott replied. "Vi... Bruce, Robert, Joe, Joan and Dexter should be heading off to bed pretty damn soon anyway. I'll probably turn in a little early myself too."

"Okay then," Benny said as he and Jenny began to head outside. Scott did have some mixed feelings going through his head as he was real unsure of what to quite make of his late 50s garndmother. She really did seem nice enough but maybe she did have some issues.

"Are you sure that Grandma Jenny was the president of Grandpa Ben's Hill Valley fan club?" Virgil asked doubtfully.

"Actually, he told me about it before," Scott explained. "What he really told me was that his manager Mr O'Hara insisted that Grandma was a crowd member in Built For Speed which I've seen three times and Grandpa insisted."

"Okay then," Gordon replied. "Do you know how long the two of them had been going out? I mean Grandma's a real nice lady if you ask me."

"Anyway, Guys," Scott said. "I think it's about time for you to head off to bed. I plan to turn in really soon myself. I'm feeling a little bit on edge and I think I need to get a little rest. In a way, I hope we get to see Built For Speed being filmed here this week. This way, we could be there to supprt them."

"I really hope that we get along with great Uncle Izzy," Alan said sighing. "I mean, what if Great Uncle Izzy thinks Benny's a real jerk? I heard Grandpa Ben never takes that kind of crap."

"Keep your pants on, Alan," Scott said as he rested his hands on Alan's shoulders. "Anyway, Dad won't be born for another three years. Just remember to be friendly to Great Uncle Izzy and we'll be fine."

"I guess you're right, Scott." Tin Tin said.

"Just try to have a good rest now," Scott said as he saw Gordon, Alan, Tin Tin and Fermat heading to bed. "Goodnight, you guys. It'll be okay."

As Scott and Virgil both headed for bed, Scott was unsure if things really would be fine. After all, his paternal grandfather was a famous rockabilly singer and his paternal grandmother was the president of his Hill Valley fan club.

Chapter 4

As Scott stepped into Lou's Cafe with Benny, Virgil, Gordon, Alan, Tin Tin and Fermat the next day, he felt really nervous. Did Benny expect him to stay with him all day? He suddenly caught sight of a familiar-looking young man who was waving at Benny.

"Well, howdy," the young dark-skinned man greeted Scott cheerfully. "Are you new here in town? You quite look to be around my age and I don't think I have seen you in town before! By the way, my name's Goldie Wilson! So what's your name?"

"Oh hey, Goldie," Scott replied smiling. "I'm really just visiting this town for about a week. My name's Marty McFly and I'm spending this whole week at Benny Tracy's new pad. I just turned 25 a couple months ago in fact. It's very great to meet you."

"It is quite nice to meet you, Marty," Goldie said warmly. "I'm Benny's best friend here. Some people in this town don't understand him but I think this cat's a real genius. I can really relate to Benny 'cause I know just how it feels to be hated for something that you can't help. I'm not one to be easily discouraged though."

"So do you work with Benny?" Scott asked. "Do you feel that there are a lot of people in this town who hate you? I really don't think that's right, you know."

"It's only a small handful of bigots," Goldie explained. "Old Man Carruthers, for one, ain't that keen on me just 'cause I got dark skin. As a result, I'm not ever welcome near benny and the Thunderbirds at the cafe. I just don't let these few hateful people get under my skin though. I don't ever need their approval of me anyway. It sure says more of them than it does of me!"

"That's the spirit," Scott said approvingly. "Anyway, if you remain true to yourself and you don't give up hope, I'm pretty sure that you'll be a real successful cat someday. Then you can laugh in the faces of those who were down on you. I'm pretty fortunate to have a supportive family as well as some supportive friends. Benny's been my close friend for a long time and he hopes to be a successful songwriter too someday. Maybe we can meet later?"

"Sure, why not?" Scott replied smiling. "I need to talk to Benny about this first but I see no reason why he would object. I'd really love to meet you around the Thunderbirds."

"Come on, Marty," Benny urged as he was walking by with the others. "My band the Thunderbirds are settin' up equipment and I want you to meet my teacher's aide. Peter's also a real gone guy and I'm glad that the two of you met. That cat's got a heart of gold."

"Thanks, Benny," Goldie said smiling at Benny. "Is it okay with you if me and Marty hang with you and the band? Marty seems like a hep cat himself, you know."

"Yeah, sure, I guess so." Benny replied smiling.

Scott was smiling inwardly as he followed Benny and the gang to a booth. He had a feeling that this would be a rather interesting day. It was really great getting to meet Goldie Wilson who's grandson Goldie Wilson III had recently been elected the mayor of Hill Valley back when he was the same age as Scott was last year.

"Hey, Jenny, Becky," Benny said to Jenny and a blonde girl sitting next to her. "Becky, do you remember when Jenny called you last night and told you that I had a few visitors who were spending this week with me?" After Becky nodded, Benny added "These are Marty McFly, Bruce Dickinson, Robert Plant, Joe Elliot, Joan Jett and Dexter Holland."

"It's a big pleasure to meet you guys," Becky said warmly. After each member of the gang shook Becky's hand, she added "My name's Becky Catchpole and I was wonderin', do you, like, think you'll be pretty interested in joinin' me later? Maybe I could show you around town a little."

"Actually, I was already planning on going with Benny's pal Goldie Wilson," Scott replied rather nervously. "Maybe we could spend the afternoon together tomorrow instead."

"Oh, Benny, Peter and Jenny are gonna be with us," Becky explained. "I'm actually dating Benny's rhythm guitarist Greg Roberts. We've been datin' for nearly a year now. He's kinda cute and I think we're really gonna tie the knot one of these days. When I first met him, it was very much like love at first sight."

"Yeah, well, great," Scott said nervously. "I'd sure love to join you people tomorrow then. You seem like a really cool chick and I'd really love to meet the Thunderbirds."

"That sounds cool," Becky said smiling. "We'll be heading over to Goldie's house. I believe he's a real gone guy but I really wish he had more appreciation for clocks. I mean, I really think clocks are a pretty beautiful form of art. Just 'cause a clock don't tell the time no more, it don't mean that they lise all value, you know."

"Okay, Guys," Benny told the gang. "You sit with Jenny and BeckyBand practise oughta be startin' in about five minutes. I'm pretty sure the guys'll like you. They're a pretty hip band and I teach them to have empathy for our fans."

Scott watched as Benny walked onto the stage. He watched on as a strangly familiar young boy had stood right beside Benny. He had the same brown hair and hazel eyes as Virgil but had an Elvis quiff like Benny did.

"Hey, Baby," a young man the same age as Virgil with dark hair and blue eyes said to a redheaded girl in the booth next to Becky and Jenny's own. "How 'bout we amscray outta here before my sis's boyfriend starts singin'?"

"Sure thing, Izzy," the redhead girl replied. Scott swallowed hard as soon as the redheaded girl menioned the young man's name. As Scot studied his great unlce Izzy, he even noticed that the boy's hair was styled the same was as it was in his grandparents wedding photo.

"Hey, I'm Marty McFly," Scott said smiling. "I heard that girl callin' you Izzy. That's your name, ain't it?"

"Isadore James Bennett but the gals call me 'Izzy'," Izzy explained. "I really love when the chicks call me either that or 'Stud muffin'. So, Marty, do you think Benny's kinda hip? I mean Elvis Presley sounds better."

"I guess he sounds okay," Scott replied smiling. "Hey, have you, like, ever heard Gene Vincent? He's a real cool cat too."

Virgil suddenly felt nervous that Scott may inadvertently disrupt history. Suddenly, the sound of the microphone nearly caused him to jump up from the booth he was at.

"Hey there and thanks for comin'," Benny said as he stood on the stage and in front of the microphone. "We're so glad to see you all here at Lou's cafe today so let's give a big hand for me and my band the Thunderbirds! Let's all hear a big 'Go, Benny, go', okay?"

After Benny stept away from the microphone, the whole crowd all smiled and said "Go, Benny, go!"

"Okay, let's rock 'n' roll." Benny said a bit coolly. He then started strumming his guitar and the band decided to play along to.

As much as Virgil and the others didn't want to discourage Scott from being friends with Izzy, they could help but worry that Scott's friendship with him could really affect the space-time continuum in drastic ways. Virgil sighed as he tried to put aside his worries.

Chapter 5

As Scott walked to the men's room with Izzy, he felt a little nervous. He knew that the boy he befriended would become his great uncle 28 years in the future. Izzy seemed to be very nice.

"So where are you from, Marty?" Izzy asked. "My sisters Jenny and Billie both think Benny Tracy's kinda cool and my folks kinda like 'im too!"

"So whatcha think of Benny?" Izzy asked. "He's a real gone cat and he makes rockabilly pretty hip. My mom said he wasn't all that cool at first 'cause he rimnded my dad of Elvis but they gave in and now, they think he's real cool."

"Oh, I think Benny's pretty cool too!" Scott gushed. He was almost about to make up a story how he would frequently visit Benny and that they always had much fun together. He then realized that this version of Benny did not know about time travel.

"My old neighbor Biff Tannen said Benny's a jerk," Izzy said grimacing. "He's got this gang who are just as nasty as him. The last time I went to the movies with him, he disrupted the folks behind us a lot. He lives with his grandma and I bet that old woman spoils him rotten!"

"You're so lucky," Scott said sighing. "Some of my pals've got grandparents that I'm pretty close to, though. I sure wish I had some cousins to be able to play with."

"I told Benny if it was cool by him if I could pal with him and he said that was cool by 'im," said Izzy. "I might also introduce you and the gang to my folks and baby sis Billie too althought she's only 12 years old. She's got this thing for Hal Talyor too."

"Okay." said Scott as he went to one of the cubicles leaving Izzy standing by one of the sinks.

The next day, Scott, Virgil, Gordon, Alan, Tin Tin and Fermat all met Benny, Jenny, Izzy, Goldie and Becky at Lou's cafe and sat at differnet booths. After a little while, three other young men had stopped by to speak to Benny.

"Hey," the young man with dark hair and green eyes said as he and his othet two bandmates walked up to the gang at different boothes. Lokking at Scott, the dark haired young man smiled and asked "I'm Greg Roberts, this is Benny's little broher Johnny and our pal Bart Sullivan, what's your name, Pal?"

"His name's Marty McFly and those are his pals Bruce Dickinson, Robert Plant, Joe Elliot, Joan Jett and Dexter Holland," Becky explained. "They're spendin' the whole week with Benny. I hope you don't mind if they join us. I thought we should take 'em round town a little."

"Nice to meet you, Robert," the young man replied, as he extended his hand. "As Greg said, I'm Benny's kid bother Johnny. I hope to be able to be a successful songwriter with Benny if the Thunderbirds split. Let's get going. I got a feelin' that the future may start to look brighter. I hope we don't actually have a World War Three anytime soon."

"Biff Tannen's a real jerk," Goldie commented. "At least none of the Needles live in my neighborhood or kick my ass, you know."

"Oh my God, don't even get me started on Biff," Bart said grimacing. "There's been a lotta times when I was actually tempted to get revenge on Biff's cousin Riff but to think to his level would make me just as bad of a person that he is."

"I dig what you're sayin', Bart," Becky replied. "It's just that he always tries to make some advances at me and I'm real scared that he might rape me someday. I don't wanna upset my folks, you know. I wanna be pure and chaste til I'm hitched."

Scott swallowed deeply as he and the gang followed their gandparents and new friends into the house. He knew that Greg and Becky were destined to have two children and one of them had ended up as a close friend of his uncle Lou. The Becky of 2011 quite seemed to be a friendly enough woman even if she was sometimes so overly passionate about saving the clock tower in Hill Valley that she would have a nerve to interrupt a passionate kiss.

Chapter 6

"Well, here's my home," Goldie announced, as Terry drove into the parking lot. "My mother and I pretty much live by ourselves, as my father died when I was ten. She is a very nice lady, but she never had been able to quite get anything from working thirty years. People don't appreciate her, because she's coloured and a woman."

"That sounds very sad," Marty said, shaking his head. "So what about you? Do you have any plans to get into college, and get some higher education?"

"I can't afford to go to college," Goldie said, shaking his head. "I'm trying to save up my money, though - so that I could go to night school someday. Some people would try to discourage me, but I've learned to not let other people get under my skin."

"So, Goldie, do you have any other friends?" Marty could help asking, "Besides Carol and Terry, I mean? Have you ever attended Hill Valley High School?"

"Most of the kids at school were pretty nice," Goldie replied, smiling. "It was mostly Russ Unger and his gang who would bully me. However, Mr. Strickland never really liked me, either. He says how everyone of my type is a 'slacker' - and how none of my type will ever amount to anything. He would always look for excuses just to get me in trouble. It really hurts me, because I've always tried my best to behave."

"I don't think Strickland likes anyone," Carol said, grimacing - as the four of them entered the house. "Did you ask Sarah Carruthers out on a date? I sure think she likes you, Goldie. I must say, she is a very nice girl - in spite of her father."

"I suppose I'm a little afraid to ask," Goldie said, sighing. "I know her father doesn't really like those of my kind, so he may not like the idea of me dating his daughter."

"I'll share a little secret with you, Goldie," Carol said, encouraging. "I've spoken with her a little the other day, and she told me how she was rather hoping that you would ask her to the Apple Picnic this Saturday. I think she does quite like you, Goldie!"

"Well, okay," Goldie said, sighing, "I guess it can't hurt to ask her. After all, I'm sure that the worst that could happen is that she may not accept. It is not exactly the end of the world, if she turns me down. Life really does go on, you know."

"That's the spirit!" Terry said, encouragingly. "In a way, I feel quite bad for Sarah - and how she has a really bigotted father. At least, her mother raised her up right. I know that she holds to the basic principle of how we should love our neighbours."

"Goldie Wilson!" Carol gasped, as she dug up an old clock from the trash can. "How can you throw away such a beautiful clock like this? Come on, now! Don't you have any appreciation for what a fine piece of art this is? Why throw it away, Goldie?"

"What good is a clock that doesn't tell time?" Goldie asked, a bit defensively. "After all, that's what clocks were designed for! I didn't need it just cluttering my place!"

"Uh, Goldie," Carol said, as an exasperated sigh, "you just don't appreciate the value of clocks, do you? Perhaps you won't mind at all if I take this clock home - and add it to my clock collection. I just think this is such a beautiful piece of art, you know."

"Yeah, okay," Goldie said, sighing. "I guess you can bring it home with you. It's not like I really need this clock, anyway. I suppose I'm just a practical sort of person."

Marty watched the exchange between Goldie and Carol, with interest. He figured this pretty much summed up why the two of them would end up really being at odds with each other over the fate of the clock in the clock tower during the 1980s.
