The Affairs Of Life
Starring Steven Weber and Kim Raver as an once-happily married Long Island couple who decides to make the attempt of changing their marriage to an open marriage, where they are free to date others and still remained married (for the sake of their two children). Steven Weber plays Greg Spencer, a successful corporate lawyer for a huge corportation who is on the verge of a mid-life crises. Kim Raver plays Lara Spencer, a high-powered fashion magazine editor-in-chief who married Greg in college just to spite her overbearing mother. Greg and Lara have two children: 13-year-old son, Jackson Spencer (Alexander Conti), and 10-year-old daughter, Emily Spencer (Elle Fanning). Now, since Greg and Lara's decision to be an open marriage, Greg has been having eyes on his business partner/co-worker/best work friend, the vivacious and beautiful Amanda Tallon (Nicollette Sheridan). Lara begins to fall for a much-younger deliveryman, Jeremy Scott (Jared Padalecki)-who has always had a crush on Lara since Day 1. Also, Lara's longtime best friend, Melissa Stewart (Kate Beckinsale) is often out and about with Lara, and often at the Spencer home just hanging out.
