I'm going to purchase the season 1 dvd from Austrialia. I was wondering if someone who already has purchased it would be able to give me a little more info about it. How many discs does the set have? What are the special features? What kind of case does it come in? Also would someone be able to obtian a screen shot of the menu design? Im also courious to know what scences are added in episodes 7-23? Thanks for all the help in advance!

Ok i looked on ebay to buy it and im not going to. It says it has the same bonus features, the cover art is like season 1 only white and no stripes and stuff. Only one episode is cut and thats only one scene in one episode. So the rest are uncut. Its a three disk set and the menu I have no idea.

I dont remember exactly.. but the menu is nothing like the region 2 set. I think its a white menu, and you pick episodes from a list.

The dvds i buy from the uk are different too menu wise that is.i brought season one and two the rest i got from amazon before they were released here.

Are EBay, and possibly Amazon (?), the only places where the Australian DVD purchasing is available?

No, well first season isnt, but S2 and S3 are.

That figures. If you look at the treatment these shows are getting. Like other ones like married with Children and Will and Grace and stuff are cut up too.

Married with Children didnt have too many edits luckily, well, fourth season featured some syndicated prints, but the german dvd set was unedited.. once again R2 is superior to R1 :D same with 3rd Rock From The Sun... american releases of S1 and 2 had syndicated prints... British sets had unedited ones.

thats interesting but you'd figure that these companies wouldn't want bothered with the sloppy reviews because of the edited shows.
