An Unbreakable Bond
Starring Debra Messing and Joely Fisher as two very single, thirtysomething Los Angeles sisters who want a fresh start after experiencing a few rough paths back in their previous hometown (a.k.a.-Boulder, Colorado). Debra Messing plays Debbie Moran, a single L.A. magazine columnist, who has no such luck with dating men and finding "Mr. Right". Joely Fisher plays Vicky Moran, a single divorcee and radio talk personality, who is re-entering the dating realm after being married for past close-to twenty years. Debbie and Vicky decide to move into their recently-deceased Aunt Millie's L.A. condomium, which was left to the girls in their inheritance. Vicky's 19-year-old daughter, Kendra Carlisle (Blake Lively) also decides she is going to move with her mom and aunt to Los Angeles and cancelled her college plans of going to a community college back in Boulder, when she realizes she can work and save up money to attend her dream college- UCLA. Kendra ends up waitressing at a very popular, new L.A. nightclub, which screams "excitement" for Kendra and "worried nights" for Vicky and Debbie. While working her first day, newbie Kendra is taken under the wings of fellow nightclub waitresses, the confident and wise-Gina Rodriquez (Sara Ramirez) and the semi-promscious and sassy-Daniella Brooks (Nicole Richie). Also, Debbie and Vicky are befriended by the hunky, masculine OBGYN, Brian Michaels (Dan Cortese)-who lives in a nearby condomium, with his mechanic boyfriend, Jake Pearson (Bobby Cannavale). Brian and Jake become close confidantes and friends to Debbie and Vicky.
