List from the Encyclopedia of Fictional People:
Dell Griffith (Planes, Trains & Automobiles)
Bill S. Preston & Ted Logan (Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure)
Radio Raheem (Do The Right Thing)
Jethro Bodine (Beverly Hillbillies)
Cliff Clavin (Cheers)
Herb Tarlek (WKRP In Cincinnati)
Michael Myers (Halloween)
Dante Hicks (Clerks)
Jeff Spicoli (Fast Times At Ridgemont High)
Forrest Gump (Forrest Gump)
Who else should be on this list? If Herb Tarlek is included, so should Les Nessman. I also nominate Steve Urkel (Family Matters), JJ Evans (Good Times), and Horshack (Welcome Back, Kotter). The topper would be Ted Baxter (MTM). He'd plop right down next to you and start yammering, "It all started in a 5,000 watt radio station in Fresno, CA..."
Glenn Quagmire - Family Guy
Homer Simpson - The Simpsons

^ I think the true nightmare bus ride seatmate of the Seinfeld lot would be Newman, with George and Elaine tied for second.
Here's another choice - Inspector Frank Luger (Barney Miller). He'd be rambling on and on about "me and Foster, Kleiner and Brown".
Ida Morganstern from Rhoda.

Even though I think both are pretty cool I would not wanna be stuck sitting next to Roseanne or Archie Bunker
Mr Haney from Green Acres, he'd probably have a suitcase full of items to sell you.

Sydney Andrews Manicni- Melrose Place. Can you imagine her sitting next to you and saying that she slept with her sister's ex husband and then orchestrated a prostitute ring? She is such a chatter box.
Charmaine Brown: the cosby show and a different world. Talk. Talk. Talk.

I love that guy. Planes, Trains & Automoblies is a classic movie. The scene on the airplane is hysterical.

Sitting next to Waldo from Family Matters might make the trip interesting, so it might not be a bad thing.
Some of the chatterboxes might be interesting. They'll chatter the entire time and if it's interesting (or weird) it might keep you from getting bored.
Who I would not want to sit next to:
Uncle Fester
OH Nuts!

Phyllis -The Mary Tyler Moore Show
