Favorite TV wedding??

I always loved the Newhart episode where Kirk Devane marries Cindy the circus clown. He's so nervous he faints every time at the "dearly beloved"! Finally the gang puts him on a gurney and holds it upright so he can make it through the rest of the ceremony. I laughed so hard I was crying. I've only seen it once; would love to see it again!!

Honorable mentions go to each of the 3 times in the 1992-93 season that Hayden and Christine attempted to marry on Coach. My favorite of those is when Christine fell off the chandelier and into the cake at her parents' house in KY!! :lol: :rofl: :brent

^ Yes, that was a good one. Everyone wanted Phyllis' head for forgetting to pick Rhoda up! I loved the visuals of Rhoda running down the streets of NYC to the subway in her wedding dress. The wedding itself was rather dull compared to the build-up!! :lol:

I have to agree about Rhoda's wedding. I love when Georgette says, "I forgive you, Phyllis. But if I were you, I'd get my tail out of here before Rhoda shows up!" LOL I would also have to mention Joe and Helen's wedding on Wings. That was another one of those "Whatever can go worng, will go wrong" weddings. Oh, and when Dorothy married Blanche's Uncle Lucas on the last ep. of The Golden Girls. Not necessarily funny, but VERY touching. It was nice to see Dorothy finally with someone better than Stan for a change, LOL.

Even though I haven't technically seen it, only parts of it, I love Tony and Jeannie's wedding on I Dream of Jeannie. Jeannie looked beautiful and Tony looked handsome. Jeannie looked so happy. I can't wait to see it in it's entirety.

I liked Ted and Georgette's wedding. It was really funny.

I liked Jesse and Becky's wedding on Full House. It was beautiful.

Oh my gosh!!!! I LOVE that episode. Everytime I watch it, even though I know what happens, I start to cry! Dwayne was a bold man to crash the wedding like that. Nothing or No one was holding him back!

I have to add another wedding to this list.

The wedding of Michaela and Sully. Jane looked stunning in her dress and Joe looked handsome with his face freshly shaved. He was wearing a beautiful indian beaded jacket.
The episode was so highly anticipated and in my opinion, one of the best in primetime. It had everything, even a little glimpse of the honeymoon. ;) It was beautiful and so realistic.
