it seems that all is on TV these days is these drama shows and reality shows. each network maybe has 1 or 2 sitcoms but thats not enough. i can remember back in the early 90s there were like 10 sitcoms on each station it was great now i get stuck watching these stupid 1 hour drama shows and reality shows while i cant even watch a sitcom when it gets cancelled after 10 episodes because they want another reality show to fit in the schedule. does anyone think the sitcom will ever make a comeback

I sure hope so. Maybe they'll come up with some good ones in the next few years.

The only way the sitcom will make a comeback is if someone out there actually creates a good, funny, well-written show. Today, every comedy is either about love or a crazy group of people. The only highly-rated sitcom, Two in a Half Men, is nowhere where near even the okay sitcoms of back in the day.

i really hope so because tv nowadays is just crap. the only shows from today that i tune in for are two and a half men, everybody hates chris and ugly betty because they are great and they make me laugh. i couldn't give a stuff about dramas like desperate housewives, house, 24, prison break etc or crappy reality tv shows. there were many great 80s and 90s sitcoms but in the 00s and right now, there aren't that many good ones worth tuning in for

I hope sitcoms make a comeback. These things seem to be somewhat cyclical--look back and you see periods where westerns, cop shows, sitcoms and today reality shows dominate tv programming.
