Does anyone have any info on the original set pieces from the Honeymooners. I read that Phil Cuoco stored the stove, icebox and sink from the 50's when the show went off the air. Does anyone think those are the original sets when they revived it briefly on the ASM in NY or later in Miami? They look the same, I seem to remember the view out the window changed over the years some, and would Gleason want to pay for storage all those years? And where are they now? They would look great in a museum!

In 1999, TV Land bought the Kramdens' table and chairs, dresser, kitchen sink, stove, oven, and icebox with drip pan at a Sotheby's auction for promotional purposes of their airing the Classic 39/Lost Episodes. They even shot a commercial touting that they owned the pieces. I do not know if they are still the property of TV Land. At the time, they paid Sotheby's $66,780 for the furnishings.

"Peanuts, Peanuts..whatcha gonna do with peanuts?" or "A mere bag of shells"....if only Ralph had known the true value of his furniture, they could have moved out of the dump they lived in!
