Yes, it was. It was a cover version of a song originally recorded by Richard Harris. Harris's version went to #2 on the Billboard charts in 1968, while Donna's went to #1 ten years later.

As for all of you "Love To Love You Baby" fetishists, the only place you'll hear Donna "singing" that song is on record, because Donna found religion many years back and refuses to "perform" that song live.
