Kelsey Grammer Returns to TV Screens in Back To You

Frasier star Kelsey Grammer is set to make a comedy comeback as a news anchor in a new sitcom.

The actor, who played psychiatrist Doctor Frasier Crane for 22 years in both Cheers and Frasier, will star as a local news presenter trying to rebuild his career in the Fox TV show Back To You.

He will star alongside Everybody Loves Raymond actress Patricia Heaton in the comedy due to be screened in 2008.

This project will help keep Kelsey Grammer busy. After Frasier Crane and Sideshow Bob, a couple of roles he has portrayed for almost 20 years each, I'll be glad to see more from him.

Don't forget, after nearly 20 years, playing Frasier Crane on both Cheers and Frasier, he's still Sideshow Bob on The Simpsons, a role he's been playing almost as or maybe even longer than the total number of years he's played Frasier Crane. I know we only hear Kelsey as Sideshow Bob, but still, he's never left TV. Now, with his forthcoming sitcom Back to You, arriving this fall, he'll actually be on Fox, twice a week, along with The Simpsons.
