Eve Dismisses Sean Penn Rumors

Rapper Eve has dismissed claims she is romantically involved with married actor Sean Penn, insisting they are just friends.

Suspicion was aroused when Penn made a late night visit to the hip hop star after her arrest for driving under the influence last month.

He even reportedly offered to bail Eve out with $30,000 of his own money.

But the Who's That Girl star tells SOHH.com, "There's no craziness going on. I've known him for years. We got mutual friends. He saw what was happening and he just wanted to make sure I was cool.

Penn is happily married to Forrest Gump actress Robin Wright Penn.
