Early this morning I watched some of "Serpico," an amazing 1973 movie based on a true story about a cop who battles widespread Police corruption in 1960's New York City.

Al Pacino is great in the title role.

The Buddy Holly Story was good too, except there were A LOT of liberties taken. I was impressed that the actors not only sang and played themselves, but filmed the performances LIVE (no lip-synching).
