They are both my shows, so I can't choose. Good Times had me on the edge for it's drama, and Sanford and Son had me laughing, so it's a draw for me.

Sanford And Son. Always laugh out loud funny and fun to watch. I hate "Good Times". Too serious and too depressing. Very unwatchable.

Good Times - S&S has the same problem The Jeffersons has. All the characters annoy me. Whereas on "Good Times" only J.J. and occasionally Willona annoy me. Plus I cared more for the Evans than I did for the Sanfords.

Sanford & Son has me howling every time I watch it. Plus, it is so un-PC and honest that you can't help but like it.

The big selling point: S&S had Gregory Sierra (Julio). :eyes:   Enough said. ;)

Good times was probably the most realistic sitcom of all time. It was very well done. I'm not saying I hate s&s but I could just never get into it.

I really like both shows, but I give the slight edge to Sanford And Son.

I noticed that, Solomon, but she is new. You do the same thing, so you don't have anything to say. How many times do you compare the Jeffersons and Good Times? You just did it this week.

And he'll get on your case if you point out that he started the same exact thread topic more than once.

To answer the q, I prefer Good Times.

Good Times. I like it better. It dealt with more serious issues. I thought that Sanford and Son was kind of stupid.

I choose Sanford and Son for it's LOL comedy and the fact that Demond Wilson looks just like my uncle (No joke).

Good Times may have been popular, but the overdramatic flare and realistic dialogue was just too much for me.

Tough choice, seeing as I enjoyed watching both. I'll go with Sanford & Son. I loved seeing Fred and Esther going at it and him calling Lamont " You Big Dummy ".
