Vivian Banks #1 or Harriette Winslow #1 which one do you preferred???

Vivian Banks, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, was played by Janet Hubert-Whitten for the first three season and was fired due to getting pregnant and her battles with Will Smith and co-stars. Hariette Winslow, Family Matters, was originated by Jo-Marie Payton France she quit the show in the middle of the final season and was replaced. Both of these characters were replaced and the replacements were watered down versions of the original. Out of the two originals which one do you preferred??? I will get back with you on which one I preferred and why.

I liked Harriet Winslow #1 more she was funny and more likeable.

Harriet Winslow #1....I always loved that character. She was a great mom, and a great person. She always listened to all the sides of everyone`s story. And she just seemed like a person anyone can talk to about anything.

When I watched Family Matter I did not really pay attention to Harriette so my pick would be aunt viv. She was funny and a hell of a lot better than aunt viv #2

I loved the episode where Harriet was the report card lady, her and Carl would give the kids money based on their grades.

Harriette, as played by Jo Marie Payton. I never watched Fresh Prince that much but watched Family Matters every Friday as a kid and a young teenager. Harriette was a great character, and I'm so sorry she and nearly all the family were pushed aside for more and MORE Urkel!!! :mad:

No real preference, but Harriette Winslow would definitely make the list of top TV moms. As for Vivian Banks(Aunt Viv), put her on the list of TV aunts, although she's a mother, too, on Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

I guess Vivian #1, because out of the choices, I see Fresh Prince more. I think it's sad Janet had to leave. She did an excellent job, and I think she had a much better relationship with Phil than Vivian #2.
