MOTHER LODE OF CHILLS – Sunday 5/13, 11:30am to 6am (ET)

CHILLER salutes Mother’s Day with a daylong event featuring Norman Bates, Freddy Krueger, moms with unruly kids, an evil supercomputer and appearances by classic TV moms.

What would Mother’s Day be without the most frightening mama’s boy of all? Norman Bates “honors” his mother in Gus Van Sant’s Psycho (1998) at 8pm and 12:30am (ET) and in the CHILLER premiere of Psycho II starring Anthony Perkins at 10pm and 2:30am (ET).

Kids won’t make it easy on mom in our double-feature of Bad Seed at 11:30am (ET) and Demon Seed at 2pm (ET). Then Freddy expresses his well wishes in a special “Mother’s Day” episode of Freddy’s Nightmares at 5pm (ET).

A two-hour block of TV moms follows beginning with Leave It to Beaver’s Barbara Billingsley in Monsters at 6pm (ET), Married… with Children’s Katey Sagal in Tales from the Crypt at 6:30pm (ET), Happy Days’ Marion Ross in Alfred Hitchcock Presents at 7pm (ET) and Brothers & Sisters’ Sally Field in Night Gallery at 7:30pm (ET).




GOOD VS. EVIL WEEKEND – Friday May 18 – Sunday May 20

CHILLER presents a weekend of legendary pop culture heroes and villains.

Norman Bates starts the weekend off with Psycho II on Friday May 18 at 9pm and 12:30am (ET).

On Saturday May 19, catch four hours of the series Good Vs. Evil at 2pm (ET). That night, Hannibal invites you to dinner with the Red Dragon at 9pm (ET). Then stay up late for the classic Universal films, Dracula (1931) at 2:30am (ET) and House of Dracula at 4am (ET).

Sunday May 20 will be a night of legends beginning with Christopher (Superman) Reeve in Tales from the Crypt at 7pm (ET), Adam (Batman) West in Tales from the Crypt at 7:30pm (ET) and Robert (Freddy Krueger) Englund in Freddy’s Nightmares at 8pm (ET). Then join Michael (Batman) Keaton in Pacific Heights at 9pm (ET), Frank (Riddler) Gorshin in Monsters at 11pm (ET) and Christopher Reeve returns with Mark (Star Wars) Hamill in Village of the Damned at 12am (ET).



BAD NEIGHBORHOODS – Friday May 25

As a public service, CHILLER warns house hunters with these views of Bad Neighborhoods: Village of the Damned (1960) at 11am and 4pm (ET), People Under the Stairs at 1pm (ET) and Pacific Heights at 9pm and 12am (ET).


BAD MEMORIES WEEKEND – Saturday May 26 – Monday May 28

It’ll be a long weekend of bad memories beginning on Saturday May 26 with The Swarm at 12pm (ET) and Nightmares at 2pm (ET) leading up to the scariest fan in memory, Misery at 9pm and 12am (ET). Norman Bates overstays his welcome with Psycho II on Sunday May 27 at 1:30pm and 9pm (ET).

Relive bad memories all day long with the Cryptkeeper and our Tales from the Crypt Memorial Day Marathon from 10pm to 3pm and 4pm to 8pm (ET). Catch memorable performances from Michael J. Fox, Kyle MacLachlan, Whoopi Goldberg, Anthony LaPaglia, Kirk Douglas and Dan Aykroyd. The weekend ends with Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight starring Billy Zane at 9pm (ET).


HAPPY BIRTHDAY VINCENT PRICE – Sunday May 27, 12am – 6 am (ET)

CHILLER salutes a horror-film icon with a special late-night tribute to Vincent Price! Price stars in The Invisible Man Returns at 12am and 3:30am (ET) as well as classic episodes of Night Gallery at 2am, 2:30am and 5:30am (ET).

Kathy Bates proves to be James Caan’s #1 fan when Misery has its Commercial-Free CHILLER premiere on May 4 at 9pm and 12am (ET).

Michael Douglas stars in Michael Crichton’s thriller Coma on May 11 at 9pm and 12am (ET).

MOTHER’S DAY MYSTERIES, Sunday May 13, 9am-2am (ET)
Sleuth honors mom on her special day but danger still lurks around each corner for her.

Simon & Simon’s mom does her best to keep her boys in line with back-to-back episodes from 12pm-2pm and 6pm-8pm.

Things get dangerous When Danger Follows You Home starring JoBeth Williams at 9am and 4pm, followed by Our Mother’s Murder starring Roxanne Hart at 2pm and 10pm.

FBI agent Sam Waters tracks serial killers while trying to be a good mom in back-to-back episodes of Profiler from 8pm-10pm and 12am-2am.

MIAMI VICE: BEGINNING TO END MARATHON, Tuesday May 15, 8pm-4am(ET)
In one night, follow Crockett and Tubbs from their first encounter in the groundbreaking pilot of Miami Vice to their last adventure in the series finale. The 2-part pilot airs 8-10pm and 12am-2am (ET) and the 2-part finale airs 10pm-12am and 2am-4am (ET).

COMEDY STAR WEEKEND, Friday May 25 – Sunday May 27
Memorial Day weekend on Sleuth begins with comedy favorites and familiar faces in rare dramatic roles. You’ll see the funniest comedians, the biggest box-office draws as well as many Saturday Night Live alumni such as Ben Stiller, Janeane Garofalo, Chris Rock, Jim Belushi, Martin Short, Eddie Murphy and host Steve Martin.

On Friday May 25, Ben Stiller is highlighted in a double-feature with an early appearance in Miami Vice at 10pm (ET) followed by Mystery Men with Janeane Garofalo and William H. Macy at 11pm (ET).

Saturday May 26 features a Homicide: Life on the Street appearance by Paul Giamatti at 11am and 6pm (ET), Chris Rock in Miami Vice at 1pm and 10p (ET), Steve Martin in Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid at 2pm and 11p (ET), Jim Belushi in K-911 at 4pm and 1am (ET), and Eddie Murphy in his most famous role in Beverly Hills Cop III at 8pm (ET).

Ray Liotta and Kevin Dillon are sentenced to a prison island that none has ever escaped in No Escape at 10:30pm (ET).

Magnum, PI is haunted by his tour in Vietnam in a mini-marathon of episodes including the series’ two-hour pilot beginning at 10am (ET).

Michael O’ Keefe plans a kidnapping that goes wrong in Incident at Deception Ridge at 3pm (ET).
