The TVland awards show was an hour and a half. They awarded ROOTS, THE BRADY BUNCH, LUCILLE BALL, TAXI and that other show. They had the Judds perform for the award to HEE HAW and had many commentaries. Too bad the Oscars can't achieve all that in their almost four hour show. :crazy:

But the Oscars are live, the TVland awards were probably edited to 1 1/2hrs
But the Academy Awards has speeches by the guy who won best animated shrot film and plenty of shots of Will Smith and his wife Jada sitting in the audience!
And the dead people montage! Let's not forget the dead people montage!

Yeah, the Oscars are a drag, it seems like they just try to fit eveyone in.
