LOL, no one made a thread? :lol: Any thoughts on the performances? Who might leave us?

My personal thoughts...

01. Lakisha - I actually liked it more than her other performances.

02. Sligh - Not as bad as the judges made it out to be, but it wasn't that good either. I felt kind of bad for him though. Honestly...I sort of thought he was going to cry. :lol: But he's going down for me. I don't like him as much as I used to.

03. Gina - I agree with the judges - one of her best performances by far. :D

04. Sanjaya - He's had worse performances, LOL. But he's still not up to par with everyone else and he needs to leave soon.

05. Haley - It was an alright vocal performance, but everything else about it sucked. Her voice is made for strictly cruiseships.

06. Phil - Despite sounding almost exactly like Sting, he did an excellent job singing one of my favorite songs ever. :heart:

07. Melinda - Not my favorite performance from her, but her vocals were flawless and it was nice to see some up-tempo stuff from her again.

08. Blake - When will the sex appeal stop oozing? :drool: Couldn't match up to last week on that aspect, but it was still an overall good performance.

09. Jordin - Honestly, I love the girl. But that performance just made me go WTF. I kinda hoped the judges would say something negative. It was just all so absurd to me, LOL. My least favorite performance from her. :(

10. Chris R - Major points for singing my favorite No Doubt song EVER. I was a little scared for him, but in the end he did really well and made the song his own. Loved it. <3

I'm thinking we'll get a shocker in the bottom 3 tomorrow, but that person won't be eliminated. It'll probably be Sligh, Gina, Jordin, or Blake. I'm thinking and hoping that either Sanjaya or Haley will get the boot.

I was disappointed in Chris Sligh's performance last night. I know he can do much better. I do hope he gets another chance.

I'd love to see Phil try some country songs. I have the feeling he'd be really good at that. Will there be a Country Music night soon? He's my favorite guy, but I have this feeling he won't last much longer :( If he goes home before Sanjaya... :mad:

I think that even if Jordin, Melinda, and Lakisha don't win they will still go far. What voices and talent! I hope at least one of them makes the Final Three.

I liked Gina a lot better last night. She sang instead of screamed.

Chris R., Haley, and Blake are too bubblegum teenybopper pop for my taste. To me, they look and sound like they should be singing with 'Nsync, BSB, Britney, Justin, the Simpson sisters, and whatever Disney stars are popular with the tweens and teens nowadays. I'm sure at least one or two of them will make the Final Three.

Sanjaya was just awful as usual. I have the feeling he'll be sticking around though.

i completley missed AI last night. even so i'm not surprised Chris S left. he's been awful lately, and what i've seen of his Pop performance also sucked.

i think Haley is gone next, then Sanjaya, then probably LaKisha (shocker). from there on i can't predict.

from what i've seen of last night, though...Jordin, Phil, and Gina were by far the best. Melinda and LaKisha gave their usual performances (which in my opinion are boring, but ok), and everyone else sucked...again.

^ Yep, Jordin, Phil and Gina were the best last night. I didn't care for the rest of the performances at all. Sligh was an outside 4th though. Lakisha and Melinda were vocally exactly where they should have been, but that means nothing if you're boring, which they were to me personally. I do like Melinda though, she's just a tad too, for lack of a better word, boring for my tastes.

Sligh was robbed. It's about time Sanjaya goes. I like the dude, but this joke is starting to get old.

Okay.....what the hell was the topic this week? Or did they just pick any random songs? They were all over the place with thw song choices this week.

Gina is still my favorite. She blew me away this week.

LaKisha was great, as usual.

Melinda was great....as usual. Her song choise was bad, but she pulled it off.

Jordin was pretty good. That song is horrible though. I didn't like it when No Doubt did it, and I sure didn't like it when she sang it.

Phil surprised me! I never thought he was good, but he did very well the other night, I must say. I agreed with Gwen about not expecting him to sing like that.

Blake was okay. He probably only picked that song because 311 (his so called fav band) remade it. I'm glad he put the beatboxing to rest this week.

Chris Richardson is still annoying. He can't sing, and ruined a perfectly great song. He over sings, and whines way too much. And he sings out of his nose.

Haley wasn't good either. Another one who ruined a great song.

Chris Sligh was bad.

And that leaves Sanjaya. What is there to say, really? Simon was right last week, there's nothing to say, and if people are voting for him, good luck....to us all!.....He was absolutely dreadful. He destroyed one of my ALL TIME favorite songs, and definately my FAVORITE No Doubt song. I couldn't believe it. I hope the band wasn't watching, because they would have probably been punching things, or crying.....And dear god, that hair! I don't judge anyone by their appearance, but the guy is just trying way too hard now. We get it, hair gets votes sometimes.....And did anyone else find him to be rude to Simon, about him being jealous because he wouldn't be able to pull that hair do off?....Uuumm Sanjaya, you couldn't pull it off either!

ohno: Sligh shouldn't have left tonight. Phil shouldn't have been in the bottom 3 either. Sanjaya should've been in Phil's place, and either him or Haley should've left. I'm not exactly a Sligh fan and his performance wasn't good last night, but he should've at least made it to the top 8. Sucks. :(

So glad Chris S. is out. It's time for him to go, followed closely by Phil, who still fails to impress me. I want Sanjaya gone too, but it's so much easier to want him to stay because he is the obvious choice to be gone. Chris S. and Phil actually have serious fans, so I feel the need to want them gone more.

I was a little disappointed to see Chris Sligh voted off. I didn't expect him to go much further, but I still liked him better than Sanjaya, Chris R., and Haley. Now Phil is the only guy I have left to root for.
