Who is your favorite out of these two powerhouse voices??

I voted Melinda, because there is something I don't like about LaKisha. I can't explain what it is. But when everyone went LaKisha crazy, I didn't really follow. I also think she's overrated. Melinda is different though. Maybe her being so humble is refreshing...I don't know. But they make fun of Melinda being "too humble" all time time. I admit, it can get a bit excessive, lol.

Melinda. No doubt Lakisha has powerhouse vocals, but I do prefer Melinda's voice and I think she has better performing ability too. Plus she's got an adorable personality. :biglove:

Melinda. i dont like either of their voices honestly but i usually like Melinda's performances and i like her personality. i don't really like LaKisha at all.

I think that both have good vocals, but Melinda has the better personality.

That being said, I can't see either becoming huge music stars. So, I'm cheering on Blake all the way!!

I don't know what it is about LaKisha...I just don't like her. I have a feeling she will be elminated early like Mandisa on last season. I think Melinda will stick around though.

I agree with you about Lakisha.

Even though Chris R and Gina are my top two, I'd LOVE a Blake/Melinda finale, or even a Blake/Jordin finale. :heart:

I think it'll be Blake and Melinda in the finale. I would love for it to be Jordin though!!! I think she has an amazing voice, but I hate that she's overshadowed by LaKisha and Melinda because she's younger.

Also, I'm a Gina fan, but I'm afraid she won't make it too far. :(

As for a Blake/Chris R. finale....in Randy's words, that would be hott!!!

I say Melinda simply because she's turned in more powerhouse performances. LaKisha's AIATYING was the single best performance of the season so far, IMO, and she's come close to matching it several times, but Melinda's performances have been consistantly great week after week.

If someone besides one of those two wins, I don't know what I'll do!

Melinda. I don't think LaKisha's up to Melinda's calibur anymore. I think it's honestly Melinda vs. Jordin.

I wasn't a big fan of LaKisha's "Diamonds Are Forever" performance.
But the person who says that Melinda consistently has good performances every week is correct. She's going to make it far.
