What sitcoms or dramas do you believe to be geared towards one group over the other? Or what shows do you think are watched more by men? by women?

AMERICAN IDOL - I think more females watch this show for some reason. Seems more females talk abt this show on S.O. than the guys.

GOLDEN GIRLS - Obviously more females watch/watched this show.

MARRIED WITH CHILDREN: Men!!!!

KING OF QUEENS: Both males and females.

WWE WRESTLING: Men.

FACTS OF LIFE: Females.

Gimmie A Break- Women

Kate & Allie- Women

Laverne & Shirley- Women

Charlie's Angel's- Men (the angels became sex symbles to watch)

Mary Tyler Moore, Rhoda, Phyllis, Maude, Family, Full House, Murphy Brown, Designing Women, Golden Girls, Blossom and ESPECIALLY Facts of Life I think were definitely geared toward females.

Barney Miller probably had more male viewers due to the fact that all the main cast were men (except for Barbara Barrie in the earliest episodes), except I'm a woman and love the show's dry, sarcastic humor. Also, I get to ogle Gregory Sierra's Chano!!! :eyes: :drool: :heart:

I think a lot of the action shows: A-Team, Miami Vice, Magnum (well, a lot of women watched to drool over Tom Selleck), Spenser, Sledge Hammer, Dukes of Hazzard, CHiPS, etc. were geared toward the men. They were the ones who bought most of the merchandise!! :lol:

Any animated sitcom Fox has aired- Men.

All the CSIs- I'm saying both sexes here. I can't see them being geared more one way than the other.

How about pretty much ANY sitcom Fox airs is geared towards men? Except for maybe That '70s Show; both sexes seemed to really enjoy it. :)

frasier- men, though as a woman i loved the sarchasm in that show
