OK, Hallmark Channel's new presentation and style looks good, IMO. It was getting pretty stale, given that the channel has undergone very few changes since it started. My question; WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO GET SOME NEW SHOWS??? Seems like the schedule has very little variety and is nothing but Waltons, Little House, M*A*S*H, or Matlock and has been for quite a while. They used to have some other good shows, like Perry Mason, Bewitched, Jeannie, My Three Sons, Happy Days, ALF, Family Ties, Facts of Life, Hart to Hart, Hogan's Heroes, Gilligan's Island, etc...now it's just so boring and mundane. Seems like every time they get a new show (Bonanza, Family Ties, Facts of Life, JAG, Im sure there are more) it lasts a week or two then vanishes and is replaced with more reruns of the same, tired shows. What gives? Even that Saturday Morning sitcom block from 6-9 that had the Hillbillies, Hogan's Heroes and Gilligan's Island was removed and replaced with mroe Little House. I wonder if they're ever going to improve? Does anyone know exactly what shows they have rights to? I hope they try to make a turnaround this year and add some classic sitcoms, dramas, or something new.
