tonight has been awful so far. :grr: pretty much everyone has been bad.

Rudy was probably the best one yet, but he still wasn't that good...it was a good performance, but bad vocal. 6.5/10

Thomas wasn't that great, just middle-of-the-road. 6/10

Sundance was horrible. Awful. Anything he had in the beginning is totally gone, and he's in BIG trouble. 4/10

Paul was up and down...some of it was good, some of it was...not. He was alright. 5.5/10

note that i dont really have a favorite yet, so maybe that's why i'm being so critical LOL.

Nick Pedro is...ok. The song is kind of slow, and he's not too bad, although it's not a good vocal. Pretty average overall...5/10.

Blake is probably the best so far, but even HE chose a slow song. Still, a very good performance overall, FINALLY. 8/10

Sanjaya is alright, could be better....nothing special, kind of dull. Judges hate it, Simon pretty much said the worst of the night and that it was a complete waste of time. 5/10

Chris S is the best yet, definitley. Good vocal and good performance. I don't even like him that much, but he's definitley the best yet. Randy and Paula like it, Simon doesn't. 8.5/10

Jared is actually pretty good. Not awesome, but pretty good, better then I expected. Judges are "ehh". 7/10

AJ is fun and up-beat. Not an amazing vocal, but definitley decent. One of the better ones of tonight. Randy thinks it's pretty good, Paula likes it, Simon thinks it's ok, but generic. Judges are harsh today. 7.5/10

That means Phil is last...we still have 20-freakin' minutes to go, too. *-*

very mediocre show, no showstopping performances.

Wow that Paul dude is really ****ty, really really ****ty. He screwed up big time during Hollywood week and he just massacred "Careless Whisper" tonight. Can't wait for him to go home on Thursday!

All of the guys were pretty bad tonight!! The only half decent one was Chris Sligh! I have to say I think this years idol is probably going to be one of the girls!!

Phil sounds like a poor man's Chris, but he's good. Better then most tonight, probably the best vocal, but still not showstopping. Good for tonight, but if this was last year, it'd be just ehh. Judges like it. 7.5/10

no one was really great tonight, but i think Phil, Blake, Chris R, and Chris S are pretty much safe. i'd say Paul, Sundance, Sanjaya, Brandon, and Jared have to worry the most.

Tonight wasn't completely horrible. I disagreed with the judges in a lot of situations. Paul ranks as the worst of the night. Chris S. and Sanjaya were my favorites of the night. I loved Chris pissing Simon off to almost the point of tears. He deserved it. You can't badmouth everyone for five years and then, when someone gets on your ass, get upset and "uncomfortable."

I don't think Paul was that bad. He has a good voice. I ranked him as #3 on my list for tonight. Chris Sligh has a wonderful personality and a laugh-till-you-cry sense of humor, but I think talent-wise, he is overrated and his voice doesn't really entrance me. I was disappointed in Sundance and Sanjaya because they were amongst my favorite auditioners but they didn't do that well. I hope the girls pick better songs tomorrow because tonight didn't really meet my expectations. :(

Blah, tonight was kind of boring. No one did really great. I'd say the best tonight was Phil. I thought Nick, Blake, Chris S. and Sanjaya did decently but no one was really all that great tonight. I hope tomorrow night is better.

Sundance is the biggest disappointment for me. He had such an amazing initial audition, but has gone downhill since. I think he really "jumped the shark". I have the feeling that he will be gone on Thursday night. It's a shame because he had so much potential at first.

On the other side of the coin, I was initially unimpressed by Phil Stacey and figured he'd be gone during the beginning of Hollywood rounds. He wound up being one of my favorite performances last night. I still have the feeling he won't be in the final six guys though, but who knows.

Chris Sligh is by far my most favorite. What a great personality and sense of humor! :lol: I hope he makes at least the top three.

I was not impressed at all by Paul, Chris R., Blake, Sanjaya, and Nick. I thought their performances last night were very bland.

I thought Brandon, Jared, and Rudy were good. AJ is my favorite after Chris and Phil.

Can't wait to see the ladies tonight! :D I still think Baylie should be in the top 12 girls though :mad:

Lakisha and Melinda were awesome. Jordin was good too. Everyone else was either not very good or ok, IMO. Judging from tonight's performances, Antonella and Alaina should leave tomorrow.

My top six ladies from last night are Lakisha, Jordin, Melinda, Sabrina, Gina, and Stephanie. IMHO, they all blew those skinny, light-haired white girls AWAY!!! (I hope I don't sound racist. I'm white with blond hair and blue eyes myself.)

I was not too impressed with the other ladies. Nicole, Leslie, and Haley were OK, but they didn't wow me like the others. Amy, Alaina, and Antonella are my bottom three. They are pretty-faced no-talents, IMHO.

And J-Hud, who I *love*, will never ever match up to the greatness that is Jennifer Holliday. Holliday's original recording of AIATYING is.....to say the least, inspiring. It's ridiculously inspiring.

I'm not surprised that Amy was sent home. Her performance was the weakest of the ladies the other night, IMHO. I am a bit disappointed that Nicole was cut. I didn't love her singing, but I thought she was much better than Antonella and Alaina. I thought for sure that one of those two girls would be sent packing.

I'm also not sad to see Paul go. He had an OK voice, but I didn't think he was anything special. I thought his performance was one of the dullest Tuesday night. I was very shocked to see Rudy get the shaft though. I thought he was one of the best performers the other night. He was eons better than Sundance and Sanjaya. When Ryan was telling Rudy and Sanjaya that one of them was in the top four guys and one of them was going home, I thought for sure Rudy was safe. I don't get Sanjaya's appeal, I'm sorry. I thought his performance the other night was the worst. Even the judges thought so. I thought for sure he was going home. I don't like his singing at all and I don't understand what's so physically attractive about him. To each his own, I guess.

Can't wait for next week!

I thought Antonella should've been cut. I don't think her performance was that great either. I was sure she would be going home.

As for Sanjaya: I gotta support my brown people, man!! :lol: I think he has a great talent!!! I hope he makes it far, because it'll open more doors for us Indian folk!! :D :lol: :D

I think Rudy was robbed. I thought he was awesome in his audition and in Hollywood. I agree that his performance this week was an ok performance, but really, all the guys had ok performances or worse. America should have given him another chance. Already, one of my favorites is out. I think Paul is a good singer, he just didn't have a very good performance this week.

As for the girls, Antonella and Alaina definitely should have gotten the boot. Especially Antonella, her performance was really painful. Nicole wasn't that great but she was better than those two. I thought Amy was ok, definitely not the worst of the night.
