For no reason at all, I choke up at "Can You Read My Mind" by Gordon Lightfoot. I don't know why; maybe just because I find it such a beautiful song.
When I was a baby, I had a pull toy that played the 5th Dimension's "Up Up And Away". I guess one day I pulled it a bit too hard and it broke. My mom tells me I was so inconsolable she tried to find a new one. She never did. But that too is such a pretty song that I feel tears coming on when I hear it to this day!!
What can I say, I'm a sap!!
In The Living Years by Mike & the Mechanics. He sings about his father dying
and all the things they left unsaid, it always makes me cry.:(

Time by Alan Parsons Project as I had my brother, sister, their spouses, and my parents dance to that song for Christmas. It was the first time I saw them all get up and dance. I saved that for last.

"Long Long Time" by Linda Ronstadt. Except for a gender change in the lyrics, it perfectly sums up what I want to say to a woman I know who might be marrying someone else soon! :(

Thanks for the cyberhug. :)
Also, the enitrety of John Lennon's Plastic Ono Band moves me to tears, especially "Mother." What also gets me is his reference to Guy Fawkes Day in the POB song "Remember" - "Remember the fifth of November" - followed by an explosion.
November 5 is my birthday. :(
