I just saw the sketch where Audrey Meadows plays Reggie Van Gleason's girlfriend...the one where he sends her to the moon *That was so great!* when she mentions him "working" after they are married.
Did she only appear once as his girlfriend?

I don't recall seeing her in any other sketches, but it's been awhile since I've watched those. Reggie's father is played by Art Carney and his mother by Zamah Cunningham, the lady who played Mrs. Mannacotti in the Honeymooners.

Ah thank you! I knew that was Art but I couldn't figure out where I had seen that woman before.

Did you see the one where Art is playing "Ed Surrow" & he's interviewing Reggie Van Gleason?

Haha, yeah, I saw that one and another where Reggie is a detective. I actually did a search for Reggie on YouTube no more than a week ago because I heard him mentioned on The Sopranos (Steve Buscemi's character used the "Boy are you fat" line on Tony and cited Reggie Van Gleason III). I have a feeling that the creator of The Sopranos is a Gleason fan, because in another episode from that season (5), a few characters are seen watching a scene from "The $99,000 Answer." One of them even blurts out "Ed Norton" before Ralph does on the TV.

^Oh wow I'll have to watch & look for that. I'm so behind on The Sopranos it's sad...but now I have a reason to get back to it. I love that show!
BTW, did you check out the size of his cigar! I thought he had like 4 rolled up or something.
