The trio of Howard Hewitt, Jody Watley and Jeffrey Daniels proved to be a hit-making machine for much of the late 70's/early 80's R&B scene. . . .
My Top 5 Shalamar joints:
Full of Fire (1981)
This is for the Lover in You (1981)
A Night to Remember (1982)
I Can Make You Feel Good (1982)
Dead Giveaway (1983)
What's your Top 5?

And then with Howard Hewitt, Delisa Davis and Micki Free in the mid 80s, and then with Sidney Justin replacing Howard in the late 80s. Okay, so they weren't so much a hit-making machine by then, but I still liked them. One of my fave groups, hard to narrow down to five. But here's my list (all classic Shalamar):
Right In The Socket
Make that Move
This Is For The Lover In you
Night To Remember
Dead Giveaway
