Is it me or is it sometimes, hard to watch some of the L eps. because of the low quality, due too the keniscopes? I wonder if and when they rerlease the L eps., will the quality be in better conditon? The Classics are in perfect shape, except for the ending of sleep walker, witch someone had bourght up in another thred last year sometime.

I'm pretty sure they will be remastering them. I'm probably the odd one out on this because I actually enjoy the grainy look to them. I think "One Big Happy Family" should have the constant line worked on & others could use a little touching up but otherwise I'd be happy with just the extra episodes added to the re-releases.

I never minded the look of the kinescopes. As much as I enjoy the ultra sharp look of the 39, the grainy look of the Lost Episodes gives them that mythical quality that was part of their mystique when they resurfaced over twenty years ago. As the material itself came from live skits, as opposed to a filmed sitcom, I think the rough picture quality lends itself to the format and feel of the sketches. Truthfully, when the Lost Episodes were announced, I was thrilled just to have more Honeymooners to watch.

I agree 100%. I tend to enjoy the Lost Episodes more, but that's only because I've seen the Classic 39 so many times.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who doesn't mind that grainy look. I thought I'd be alone with that one. Eh clear or grainy I'd watch & enjoy them anyway.
