According to Art Carneys biography, is states that in 1966, when Gleason, did the remake of the Adoption on American Scene Magzine, that Joyce Randouph was on there. I know Carney and Meadows, was,but Randouph? I remeber on several documentries that I had saw, didn't mention Randouph, playing in this eps. I don't recall Audrey Meadows Love Alice,saying anything about Randouph in this eps. But the biography says she did, can anybody help me with this, I am confused now?:confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

Joyce did not appear in the "Adoption" special in 1966. If I remember correctly, Norton mentions something about Trixie visiting somebody at the beginning of the show, so Trixie was not featured at all in this episode. The last time Joyce played Trixie was in the 1957 remake of "Manager of the Baseball Team."

BTW, in addition to Jackie, Art and Audrey returning for this special, Anne Seymour also reprised her role as Mrs. Lawrence from the adoption agency. Mrs. Seymour was often cast in minor roles on the Gleason Show during the 1950's.

True, true. What's especially odd about that fact, was that Ms. Randolph was in the original 1955 version of "The Adoption."
