I have one, but it's from a drama series, not a sitcom:
AFTON COOPER on Dallas. She went from a dumb blonde from the backwoods of Mississippi to someone who knew before everyone else what was going on.

Corky Sherwood on Murphy Brown. In the first couple of seasons, she was a dumb blonde, but gradually, she became almost as good a reporter as Murphy.
