unknown sit-com from the 60's

Does anyone remember a sit-com from the late 60's about a hip couple living
in a New York apartment? The main female character was named Paula. It
was on a season or two.

"He and She" ran for one season (1967-68) on CBS. It starred Richard Benjamin and Paula Prentiss as Dick and Paula Hollister.:wave:

That sounds like the show I was thinking about. Wonder if its ever been shown in reruns? I can't remember if it did well in the ratings.

I don't think it ever has been rerun; at least I don't remember if it has. I wish someone would though; I wouldn't mind seeing it again.

it was rerun on usa cable about 15 0r 20 years ago it was a very good and underrated sitcom

I guess there really aren't many knowledgable posters on this site. He and She was the greatest one-season sitcom of the decade and it is far from obscure. It is a very well known series to anyone who knows anything about television. It won the Emmy award for best comedy and was rerun by CBS 5 years later as well as running on USA network in the mid 80s. Obscure? No, maybe seldom seen but as well known as any 1 year 60s sitcom.

TV Land actualy reran an episode of He and She in the late 90's. It was during a special block. I read that they were going to air an episode of Bob Denver's series the Good Guys, but they aired He and She instead.

That's too bad as all of my Good Guys except for maybe one or two are from black and white 16mm prints I bought in the early 80s. He and She I have the whole run on from USA.
