Three movies a week is too much with the limited hours they have. I network should cut out one of the Saturday movies and air Adam-12 at 9:00 and Dragnet at 10:00.

I love The Valentine's week Programming

So in other words, "i" has no plans to eliminate anymore of the informercials? This is just stupid. You can't build a network back up when you don't program for people to watch.

They plan on cutting the Paid Programming, but I'm not sure when they will. I think for sure later this year though.

Let's hope so. Makes no sense to buy packages from Sony, Warner and others and then not make use of the shows. "i" could really be a strong counterpart to TV Land, since it is already available on many cable and satellite services. Way more than AmericanLife TV, which sadly I don't see expanding.

Hey I was wondering does The I Network air a Show called Shepherd's Chapel that airs at 9:00 am Central Time or is just WPXL 49 that airs
Shepherd's Chapel at 9:00 am Central Time

Yeah, they really need to expand. They need to show a lot more of the shows they have the rights to. Hopefully they will soon, the news item today looks promising for expansion of the schedule.

I don`t know that program is up to your local station to because that program is not on any other ion station.
Even though I love Growing pains, I wouldn't mind seeing them remove it since it's starting on N@N next month. If they aren't going to expand now it'd be nice to see shows that aren't on anywhere else (with the exception of Green Acres, which just airs in the mornings on TV Land when many can't watch).

I hope we get The Return on The Monkess The Partridge amily and Welcome Back Kotter when they expand The Hours
With GP on Nick@Nite now, it's time for that to go somewhere else. They could easily bring back "Amen," or, they could even put "Hazel" or "Kate & Allie" there.
Can't wait till the infomercials' contracts run up!

I sure hope the Contract for The Paid Programming Runs out soon

Aaron, please stop. We've indicated the hours will expand soon. No need to keep asking and wondering.

I would totally LOVE it if they acquired Kate & Allie.

I think Kate & Allie has a good chance of joining. They even redid the closing credits when it aired, so that is a good sign.

For Feb. 19-23 ONLY (as of now), Kung Fu will air at 10 p.m. instead of Charlie's Angels.

That should be fun that Kung Fu will air at 9:00 pm from Feburary 19-23

I am enjoying this Valentine's day week of show's
Any idea when ION March will be released? It's just a couple of weeks away. I hope some of the shows are switched out, they have access to so many.
Just a hopeful prediction, but maybe they're expanding next month and thats the hold-up? LOL
I don't know if this has been posted, but you can vote for what shows you want to see.

March will be released this coming week. As for the poll, those are the shows they have big interest in airing. So, vote for them and you'll see most of them on-air this year.
LAPD: Life on the Beat is airing as a filler on Sunday, Feb. 25 at 10:30pm, following a movie.

I voted for Alice, Perfect Strangers, Kate & Allie, Starsky & Hutch, Wonder Years, Kotter, Growing Pains (even those these two have aired/are airing), and Barney Miller. I'd love to see all of them back on!
Are you going to do a feature on the blog about this Pav?
Pavan
02-18-2007, 12:19 PM
Yes, on Monday.
I don't know about the Direct TV and Time Warner ION Plus feeds, but as far as the Comcast one is concerned, it appears the public domain sitcoms and movies and PAX reruns have been eschewed for ION Life, which went on the air today. The primetime schedule remains the same.

CRV,
It looks like it been replaced on Directv feed also. and look like they could be back on the week of March 5 from way it looks on tvguide website schedule.

What's IONLife? Health related stuff?

More than likely that's because ION's late getting the March schedule out. My guess is this is permanent.

Yes.

I am not 100% sure, but March 12 might be when they expand. They are keeping hush right now on the schedule after March 11.

I can't wait for the March schedule. I don't want to get my hopes up too high though.

Well, I know a lot of us Benson fans have been e-mailing ION requesting Benson. Let's keep our fingers crossed it will end up on their schedule sometime in the near future. :D

Benson can't air on ION. It is a Sony show, but Program Exchange has it.

I would love to see Sony sell the rights to that show to just about anyone else. Other networks are more diligent about releasing shows to DVD, for one thing, and for another Sony just seems to be so difficult to deal with in general. I think the show would benefit from being owned by someone else.

I am with you Bensonfan
Could they possibly have Bewitched and Jeannie? Arent they Sony? Even though they didn't do well at TV Land, I'm sure they would get more than acceptable ratings at ION.
Great news that they could possibly be expanding...I guess until March 12th the schedule will remain the same? I'd love to see them expand to 12PM-12AM or something like that.

yes Jeannie & Bewitch are Sony shows.
I would like see them expand to 6am-12am except when they air the Fights Tuesday & Sat at 11pm
Pavan
02-21-2007, 07:49 PM
I think the shows in the poll are what you'll see. Not all of them of course, but those are the ones that would end up on air first. Bewitched, Jeannie do have a chance, though, but I doubt it right now.
And yes, March 1-11 is the same as it is now, as of now.
I just thought about something...maybe the contract for the paid programming expired in the afternoon and they're airing IONLife as a filler until they decide what shows to air with a new schedule? Just an idea.
Pavan
02-21-2007, 08:12 PM
ION Life is not airing on regular ION affiliates in the afternoon. That might just be for the different feeds that were airing public domain stuff.
Scoobiedoo30
02-21-2007, 08:17 PM
what do you mean by Public Domain stuff
TVJunkie101
02-22-2007, 05:16 AM
He means the episodes of I Married Joan, Ozzie and Harriet, Beverly Hillbillies that were airing. They are "public domain" meaning there's no contract required to air them (I don't think). Those types have a limited number of episodes and are available to just about anyone. Pav can explain it better though.
