...they want to get married on July 7th, 2007! Why you ask? Because July 7th 2007 is 7/7/07. Lucky number 7's. LOL I saw this on the news today. Does that seem stupid or make sense?

Seems odd. There is only one day I want to get married on and that's only because I am a dork and picked the date way back when I was in junior high. That and I would never want a July wedding, too damn hot.

Some people are crazy I tell you. Just like the women who "chose" to have c-sections so their baby wouldn't be born on June 6, 2006...6/6/06...
I was going to draw the parallel closer to the silliness of people avoiding gettiing married on the 6th of June last year.
People can be idiots sometimes.

One lady said, her and her fiance don't have the money yet to have the wedding they want. They were scheduled to get married in 2008, but because she wants 7/7/07, she decided to just have a very small wedding.

Stupid!!!!!! I am really ticked at people (women especially) who feel they have to spend bajillions on a day that will last one day, that money could be spent on their future HOME! She and her fiance should just go to the courthouse that day.

I guess women want that day because some dream about it since they were little girls. I, personally am not one to rob a woman's dream, but you are right, that money could be a nice little down payment on a home.

I plan to get married on Halloween. Not sure what year, but on Halloween. That's a lucky day for me. ;)
If I'm going to get married for something, i'm marrying for money.

It makes sense to me. After all, if they believe that the number 7 is lucky (7 happens to be my favourite number, by the way) then I can see why they'd want to get married on that date.
It may seem a strange thing to do, but it makes perfect sense to me.

lol :) nice!

I got married in July, and it did suck! The church's air conditioning went out about a half hour before the wedding, and it was a little church, so of course it was packed and BURNING UP!
If I ever get married again, I'm thinking more like September or October.
But, the plus to 7/7/07 (or 6/6/06), you never have an excuse to forget your anniversary...remember the month and go from there!

I don't like the number 7, nor do I like July. So I'd purposely avoid it.
