With the direction they seem to be taking, by moving the more 'adult' shows off [Murphy Brown, Designing Women, NewsRadio] and adding family shows like Growing Pains, Family Matters, Home Improvement, etc., how will Friends, Scrubs, and even The Nanny fit in? It doesn't seem like those shows fit the 'new' Nick@Nite brand.

Well, with Scrubs they might not have to air it anymore...because Nickelodeon is in charge of the channel now. Since Scrubs was just going to be shared with sister net Comedy Central. Friends can still air. It would do very well for them probably at 11pm. But that is still 4 years away...a lot can happen. Same with The Nanny...2 years away.

I guess with Nickelodeon, they are trying to make Nick@Nite all family, all night. Growing Pains is a good start, but no additional details have come out yet besides Jan. 21. I'll know more tomorrow. Home Improvement is coming in September and Family Matters in early 2008 (most likely in March).

i hate that they have changed it to a family network. i am an adult and do not want to always watch family shows... adults need programming too... i miss MB, DW and NR.

i think the nanny will fit in fine, it's not so risque that kids can't watch it, it's pretty mild.

I hope Friends and Scrubs never come to N@N. I love both shows but they just will not fit on the network to me.

i dont like the the direction its going in, nickelodeon runs theyre childrens programming into the ground and now these same people get control of the nite lineup?!..im upset they took NewsRadio & Mad About You off the lineup (airing it at 5am ever other day doesnt count)..im ok with home improvement, i used to love family matters back in the TGIF days but as i watch it today i have a hard time sitting through the episodes so its a ok addition but a show i could careless to see on 2 networks..as for growing pains, i hope they air it once a night because i cant stand the show and once again dont see the point of two channels airing it

well i hope that by the time they come to N@N that the network will have abandoned the family idea all together and replace it with more adult friendly fare. what made N@N special in the first place was that it was classic shows that adults could watch.

personally i'm so sick of every chanell being kids this and kids that... i'm 25 i do not want to watch kids shows every dang hour of the day

I think Friends could air on the Court TV and still do well so I'm not worried about that show. I think Scrubs will flop and so will probably The Nanny. Has N@N ever dropped a show and bought it back? Because I want them to start airing The Wonder Years again. I miss that show and I'm tired of how slow The I network is being.
