By "tape" I assume you mean record to DVD. Tape is so 1900s. Get into the new century.

Absolutely not.
To me other than some sports and the occasional documentary on the History Channel or PBS,there are absolutely no current shows or sitcoms that I have any interest in whatsoever.Hollywood ran out of fresh ideas years ago and now are resorting to so called reality shows and shock value, mean spirited sitcoms to try to save ratings.TV is dead for the most part IMO.RIP.

Not always, I wish I had taped Surface but I didn't think it would get cancelled so fast. Did it ever come out on DVD? You never know what
show will get the ax.

Nothing fell anywhere. I've been working my ass off for the last 25 years. And I'm quite successful so I do have the time and the money. Sorry that you're not successful and that you don't. You really shouldn't even be in the hobby then. How much is a DVD recorder now anyway? Haven't they come down to under $300? The first VCR I bought cost $1000 (in 1980 dollars) and tapes were about $15, if you found a sale. Oh, and by the way, don't know what you pay for blank tapes these days but blank DVD discs are about 30 cents. If prices like that are beyond your means, you really should consider another, cheaper hobby.

Yeah I tape most shows just for this reason. Like this year I have all the episodes of the shows cancelled really early like "Smith" and "Kidnapped."

And I have a lot of shows from the 2002 season that were canceled like "Do Over," "Hidden Hills," "Good Morning Miami," "In-Laws," "Presidio Med," "Push, Nevada," "That '80s Show," and "Wednesday 9:30 (8:30 Central)." I'm glad I taped most of these episodes. It's fun to go back and see them.
