16mm/ The Honeymooners?

I saw this for sale & was wondering if this is something that had to be recorded from someone's personal camera? As in they were there for the live taping.
I know nothing about this type of stuff so any answers would be great.

Sounds to me like this copy of a Classic 39 episode was for TV stations with 16mm film chains as were used in the olden days of the "telly." Let us not forget that long before the idea of using hi-rez (35mm) sources took hold, 16mm film was used extensively by the broadcast industry.
