It would have been nice if Jackie Gleason and Art Carney made many motion pictures together similar to the likes of other comedy teams. They had that special chemistry when they performed together. I think it's a little sad that it never turned out that way but they did appear together in the made-for-tv movie "Izzy and Moe" and I was wondering what everyone on this message board thinks about it. :)

Anyone see "Izzy and Moe"? Have an opinion about it?

I've actually never seen it before, but I've heard good things about it. Have you seen it? If so, what'd you think?

I haven't seen it yet. I'm waiting until I get a big screen tv before I watch it.
Hopefully someone else can post a comment about the movie. I would like to get some info of weather it's good or bad.

I enjoyed it. It's a real treat for Honeymooners fans just seeing those two back together again. It's the only time to my knowledge they did anything together outside the Honeymooners, other than the Studio One production of "The Laughmaker".

Actually, more outside the confines of Mr. Gleason's show per se, as they did do a non-Honeymooners book musical, "The Passing Politician," which was the second color episode of The Jackie Gleason Show in 1966. (From the taping of which the famed portrait of Mr. Gleason with the felt grey jacket, red vest, three-colored tie and handkerchief, posing behind a blue background, had originated.)
