Another topic on names! Good ones though.

I was in that other name topic and thought about this. Is there any name that you like (or dislike) purely based on people you know with that name?

Like, for example, a few years ago, I didn't think a thing about the names Richard, Marty, Jeff, etc. but I like them due to who they're put on (Dawson, Milner, Gordon; you get it). Same goes with Brian and Adam; two guys I knew in real life that were cute.

So, anyone else crazy like me?

LOL I'm crazy like u dawsongirl... well before I wasn't too fond of the name Mallory..but then I watched Family Ties and all of a sudden I liked it lol. same goes for Jennifer. Joyce is a kool name cuz of Joyce DeWitt (and of course, because of Joiyse lol), and... I think thats it. Priscilla Barnes is awesome but I still really really dislike the name Priscilla. so that hasn't affected me... yet. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

I just love the name, Madison, for a girl. I don't know why. I think it's such a beautiful name. I also love Casey and Mackenzie for girls and Carter, Tyler, and Cameron for boys.

I lerb the name "Abby" cuz of Abby on ER. I also for a strange reason like Candice. Probably cuz of CD on The Division. It's strange, because before I hated the name. Hm... also mostly any names on Days Of Our Lives and Passions I like.

well, I don't like the name Ashley because there is a girl in my class who I hate and her name is Ashley so I just don't like it, it's weird. Let's see, I like te name Taylor for a girl, I dunno why I just do. Oh and I like the name Adam because there is this boy in my class named Adam, and I have like this huge crush no him so eversince, I've liked the name Adam! lol

I have liked the name "Jo" for a girl ever since I first saw it used as short for Josephine in Little Women. The Facts of Life merely sealed the deal on that one for me. Add to that the fact that one of my good friends is also named Joanna and we used to call her Jo for short, and there was no going back...I really would like to name my daughter (if I have one) Joanna and call her Jo for short, but I know my whole family and my husband would think it was just because of FOL, no matter what I said, and they'd probably hate me forever for naming my kid after someone on FOL (it doesn't help that they all hate the show!)

I have always liked the name "Marie" for a girl. That is also my sister's middle name.

I have also liked the name "Rosalinda" ever since I first heard it on Frasier. That is Frasier's producer, Roz's full name. I had never heard it before, and I like it because it is unusual but still pretty.

I also like the name Jeri for a girl.

I haven't given much thought to guys names...I used to have some favorites but some reason I can't remember them now!

Funny you mentioned that. I lerb the name "Josephina". I know it's sort of an old fashioned name if you think about it, but I just love it!

In regards to boys names, I like Chase (just like the way it sounds) and Gage (You know why, Dawsongirl!)
