I often wondered why there's always such a bountiful supply of fruit cake at the supermarket when apparently the entire world hates the stuff, myself included!

I guess I'm one of a dieing race LOL. I've always loved fruitcake, my mom used to make the best fruitcake ever. and since she is no longer able to do so, I'm now the one who makes it in the family. And if i do say so myself, it is damn good hehe.

The only fruitcake that I like is very moist and made with large baking raisins. I hate the candied fruit that is in regular fruitcake. Yucky!

One thing about fruitcake. It would survive a nuclear holocaust. It lasts eternally!

It's because it's so old. You know the 'one fruitcake theory' that there's actually only one fruitcake in existence (forget what you see in the supermarket; it's an illusion). This one fruitcake is passed all around from one person to another as a gift at Christmas time.

Seriously though, I like fruitcake. It's not bad, especially the type mentioned that has a lot of raisins in it.
