I was recording "Bewitched" on Chicago's Me-TV (WWME) earlier this summer, and realized that the episode I recorded was uncut (running about 24-25 minutes without commercials). I've timed a couple of other sitcoms on Me-TV ("The Facts of Life", "Roseanne"), but they seem to be edited (running around 21 & 1/2-22 minutes).

Anyone know of any other uncut sitcoms Me-TV has aired/is currently airing? :)

Wellll...yes.

I bought a DVD burner two summers ago and the last thing I left for myself to transfer from VHS to DVD was BATMAN. This was right when ME-TV started and the episodes I had were from when Channel 32 ran them several years ago. They were complete but they were sped up.

Me-TV ran Batman uncut. They were running them in 1 hour blocks. When 32 would run Batman, they would show the whole episode but cut out the closing credits (and many times, those 'next week' previews when they would freeze frame on a villain and Bill Dozier would say something like "Next week, Cesar Romero returns as the Joker") Me-TV would show the episode complete and only run the end credits on the second episode.

So..instead of using my old 32 prints, I re-recorded them off of Me-TV to get new quality copies (no sound drops etc. the tapes from 32 were from the late 80s!). I found someone who had the majority of those 'next week' promos and I merely tacked on the credits from the second episode onto the first when I burned them and put the 'in color' tag at the beginning of each show so now I have a set thats as close to complete as you can get until they release it officially.

The 'only' thing I noticed was cut was in the "Scat! Darn Catwoman" episode that guest starred Leslie Gore. There was a scene in that episode where she was singing to a picture of Robin. I don't think Me-TV cut that out, I think that was done by the distributor maybe becuase of a music rights thing. It was in my episode I taped off of 32 so I merely edited it back into the episode I burned.

So the long winded answer (and thank you for allowing me to indulge) is 'yes' I know they ran (or still run as far as I know) Batman complete.

I have DirecTV and they carry this station. I also know that the local cable (Comcast) carries it I believe. I would assume Dish Network has it as well at this point, its been on the air for about three years if Im not mistaken.

Dear friends,

I need an uncut version of 75 of Batman a.s.a.p. The title of the episode is "Scat! Darn Catwoman." If anyone out there can help, please e-mail me at smylex@hotmail.com. Thanks.
