AWESOME!!!!!!!

It will be GREAT to see "Hazel," "The Flying Nun," "Adam 12," "Dragnet," and "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" again. I haven't seen any of them in a verrrrrry long time. Also, my precious "Kate and Allie" will be shown! I've never seen "McHale's Navy," so it'll be nice to see that for the first time.

THIS is what TVLand's MerryThon used to be like. Of course, i Network still has obligations with the infomercial people, so they can't go all out, but they are doing a great job with what they have. They're not just loading up on episodes of the shows they regularly show!

I repeat, this is AWESOME and I really really love this channel! I can't wait to see what they're doing for 2007!

Thanks for the update Pav. I can't wait for this! 'i' is what TV Land should be (and used to be).

Any hope that "i" expands come January? I'm getting the impression it will ...

And btw, I get DirecTV and channel 255, idtv ("i" on DirecTV), airs on Saturday mornings at 6 and 6:30, "I Married Joan" and "Ozzie and Harriet". I kid you not. I'll take some screencaps soon and show you all.

That's awesome!

I've been totally craving shows from the 50s and 60s so much lately and seeing "Hazel" and "Alfred Hitchcock" are going to help that a lot.

Now we need some Donna Reed and "Father Knows Best" and all of the others that TVLand aired in 2002!

What does Sub mean in Sub Digital Channel

Almost all TV stations in the United States have two channels, one for analog broadcasts and one for digital broadcasting. In early 2009 all the analog stations will be shut down and all the TV sations will only broadcast digitally.

That means your current TV set will not be able to get over the air TV. You will have to buy a new digital TV set or a converter for your analog set. People getting cable or dish TV won't have to do this, because the cable company or dish provider will convert the signals and send them to you.

All broadcasts have to be digital but do not confuse this with Hi Definition TV. No station is required to broadcast anything in Hi-Def, just digital

So currently a station can use the space it has to broadcast ONE Hi-Def channel or up to SIX digital channels. These digital channel are not high quality but better than analog is now. Since "I network" stations do not have any programs to broadcast in Hi-Def, they use their digital channel and broadcast one main channel and five sub channels, for a total of six.

This is kind of tricky cause currently you can buy a set that gets digital but not HI-def. These are the cheaper sets. The hi-def sets still are somewhat costly.

I'm guessing Growing Pains has been doing well for them?

And Mama's Family must still be doing well, because they always seem to bring it out front and center for the holiday themes. Not that I'm upset. I love Mama's Family.

Hopefully we get January's lineup soon.

I enjoyed watching the Adam-12 and Dragnet Christmas episodes last night. I haven't seen Dragnet in years! It was great. I whis that i would try and find a place for it, even if it was in overnight/morning hours.

I'd try to fit in a time for "Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman" on "I" if I had a chance. Hallmark stopped airing it and airs hours of MASH and two hours of Walker, Texas Ranger.

Yeah, paid programming needs to go from Pax/"I" channel.

Maybe put a show like Alf on Pax/"I", too.

Does this mean they have taken the Christmas episodes of Welcome Back, Kotter off the schedule???

I noticed that Amen's Christmas episodes are no longer going to be shown. They really had a lot of good Xmas shows, but it looks like they cut most of them out. I also noticed that they are not showing the Adam 12 Xmas show that was scheduled for the 23rd.

I'm putting this station with TV Land...I'm not watching it. If they can't get their programming straight...I don't want anything to do with them. And I don't watch infomercials.

I think they are still trying to the find their footing and seeing what is working when and where and what isn't.
They showed one Adam-12 Christmas episode this past Saturday, but yes, the Dec. 23 one is cut out. Adam-12 is scheduled again on Jan. 7 at 10:30pm, but I will get into that in the coming days when I announce i January.

It looks like Amen will be replaced by Growing Pains 7-8pm more than just this week. Trying to confirm weeks of 12/18 and 12/25 still, but in January it seems Amen is no where to be found. Again, I will discuss and post January in the coming days in its own separate thread and on the blog.

Thanks for the infomation. It's just too bad they announced the Xmas shows, and then decided not to air them.

Oh...now you got me wondering about January even more! That should be very, very interesting! Can't wait for it.

What's airing instead of Adam-12 on Dec 23?

Another movie has replaced whatever movie that was airing from 8-10:30, so the movie is now 8-11pm.

What really stinks about the entire schedule change for the I Network is that they were originally going to show the later season Adam 12 Christmas episode this past weekend, and then show the first season Christmas episode on the 23rd. Well, instead, they went ahead and aired that first season Christmas episode this past weekend, which I already owned. At first I was bummed, but then thought to myself, "That's ok. They've just flipped the two Adam 12 Christmas episodes around and I'll get the one I want on the 23rd." Now that apparently isn't going to happen, so I've completely missed out on that much harder to get episode. DANG!!!

Because they cut an "Adam-12" airing and the "Welcome Back, Kotter" episodes, they backed out of it? I've been completely satisfied so far, and even with these unfortunate cuts, I'm still looking forward to the rest of the season.
