The X-Box is a video game console released by Microsoft. A video game console is a system like the Nintendo 64 or Sony Playstation.
I, personally, think that the GameCube by Nintendo will be much better. Not only is it $100 cheaper, it has the great Nintendo licences (think Super Smash Brothers, Mario, Pokemon, Starfox, others) and excellent support from third-party developers and publishers (from companies like Acclaim, Konami, Sega (!), Midway and others). The X-Box is ok, but the GameCube looks great.
As for fighting games, Super Smash Brothers Melee certainly beats DOA3 by a long shot. It has more characters that are cooler (come on, it has Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and 3 Pokemon, including my favorite, Jigglypuff!), tons of cool game modes, retro music from classic Nintendo games and lots of bonus stages. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

Hey Ags2000, you rock!! Remember actually going to an arcade and playing these games. Ah....those were the days!!!!
I remember always playing Centipede at the arcade cause I didn't have it at home.
I still drag out my Atari to play my favorites:
Frogger and Joust, plus lots of others.

Hey. If you want to play Centipede go to this site www.games.com (http://www.games.com) It also has a lot of cool board games on there too.
