Windows XP

Do any of you have Windows XP? im thinkin about askin for a laptop which has Windows XP but ive heard from peeps Windows Xp is awful while others say its awesome, ive also heard it reports everything you do on the computer back to microsoft... I need some answers!

I just got a new computer with Windows XP and I have had no problem yet in the 3 weeks that I have been using it! My old Windows 98 was terrible! It kept freezing up! But, so far so good! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

I haven't heard anything about Windows XP...but I'm guessing it's pretty good. I was in the computer store today, and I wanted to get it, but mom wouldn't let me. But I'm afraid some of my progs won't work with it.

I forgot to mention that my scanner is not compatible. I am waiting for an upgrade to come out to download. My printer works fine, though!Other than that, no problems!
