Being the big Harry Potter fan myself, I can honestly say this movie DOESN'T dissapoint.
Me myself being subjected to dissapointments(the biggest being that of Episode I), I can really say this movie delivered.
I mean, the characters are spot on(especially Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley. Bloody Brilliant!) Harry himself, played by Daniel Radcliffe pulls through a nice performance, considering this movie was on HIS shoulders. Emma Watson plays Hermione very well, over the top sometimes, but hey, that's her character.

It's was truly magical.

btw, that Oliver Wood was quite hot. Love the Scottish accent. Sean Biggerstaff, I believe the actor's name is.

Oh! And Alan Rickman is one bad ass! Yeah!
He plays Snape perfectly.

You know, before I saw the film, all I wanted was to have a smile when I would walk out of the theater. And you know what?
I had a grin.

In my post above I didn't mean I was dissapointed in the whole thing, just some parts. One of my favorite parts is when Harry and Hermione do the potions thing at the end. You know what I'm talking 'bout? Well, I was dissapointed when I saw they didn't do it, but, I still love the movie. Also, when Malfoy gets caught after Harry and them free Norbert. They changed that part. I would of course go see it again, I love it

Dashing and daring,
courageous and caring,
faithful and friendly with stories to share.
All through the forest the sing out in chorus, marching along as their song fills the air;

Gummi bears, bouncing here and there and everywhere. high adventure that's beyond compare.
They are gummi bears.

Magic and mystery, a part of their history,
along with the secret of gummi bear juice.
Legend is growing,
they feel by the knowing,
they fight for what's right in whatever they do:

Gummi Bears!
bouncing here and there and everywhere;
high adventure that's beyond compare, they are the gummi bears.
They are the gummi bears!

~Thank you Jim! lol

Well, I haven't read the books, but I went and saw the movie. It was great! So great, in fact, that I went out and bought the books with my sister and I'm waiting for her to finish the first one so I can read it.

I kind of think it odd, though, that that's how it worked for me. I didn't have any intention of ever reading the books until I saw the movie, and a a lot of parents and teachers out there are complaining that kids won't read the books now because they can just see the movie. It's the complete opposite for me.

That's great! What a wonderful story, "Girl has no intention to read books, sees and enjoys movie, runs out to buy books". I always liked that story.

Oh, and you'll never be dissapointed in reading the book after you see the film. The movie is great, but the book is classic. And each book gets better and better. Have fun.
