Both are popular with the kids, but which one do YOU love more?

Personally, I like Christmas a lot better. For one thing, it's the most important Christan holiday. I also love the sights, sounds, and smells of the season. The spirit lasts all month long instead of just one day.

As for Halloween, I loved it as a kid, but I haven't celebrated it in years. I'll hand out candy to any kid in the neighborhood who comes to my door, but that's it. I never got into that supernatural stuff, even when I was little.

I would have to go with Christmas because it the best holiday of the year! On Halloween as a kid we used to go Trick or Treating. But Halloween is not a bad holiday. For Christmas, It's fun to be with family.

Now that I'm an adult, I don't even care that Halloween exists.

Halloween has always been my very favorite holiday since I was a kid (and it's still special to me). October is my favorite month as well, and I LOVE horror movies.

However, Christmas is a very close second :) I enjoy it as well.

For one thing, it's the most important Christan holiday.

I thought Easter was more important than Christmas according to the Church. It is defintely the most celebrated Christmas holiday.

And to answer the question, defintely Christmas. I just love everything about it. I wish it was Christmas all the time. When Christmas passes I get really bummed out.

Easter is the most important holiday in Catholicism- I'm not sure about Christianity as a whole. It's because he rose from the dead and that was some sort of miracle or something... I don't know. I'm not Catholic anymore, so I really don't pay attention to that kinda stuff.

I kind have lost my taste for Hallowwen over the years.

Besides, I live in New York City.
Not A day goes by that I don't see someone dressed in some bizarre costume.

Really unfair choice odds are stacked heavily against Halloween.

Halloween is great because it lets adults be kids for a day. I absolutely love decorating the house, the costumes and the kids.

Christmas is irreplacable though as the time with family and friends is priceless.

So if I have to vote it would be Christmas

Halloween.

At least for Halloween, it's not all about too much gift-giving. Too much of the commercial industry is involved in the whole gift-giving thing. People become too greedy. People can become too evil.

Here, here!! I still love Christmas but the commercialism & the overkill ruins it. Usually by the middle of Dec. I can't wait for it all to be over!! Plus I think the people are getting worse that time of year. It's supposed to be a season of goodwill. I think people become more rude.

Christmas. Because your girlfriend doesn't dress up as a vampire on Christmas.

Plus, there's plenty of pumpkin pie and homemade Swiss rolls. Enough candy already.

That reminds me of a comic strip I read right before Christmas last year. The woman was in a store where all these Christmas carols were being played. She was really enjoying them. When she got up to the register, the cashier had a sour expression. The woman asked the cashier why she wasn't in the Christmas spirit. She said something like, "I've been hearing these songs nonstop all day since the beginning of November!"

I agree about people beocoming more rude around the holidays, especially while shopping. I try to avoid the malls as much as possible around this time.
