I don't read Stephen King. At school were not allowed to read Stephen King's books beacause the boy who shot a teacher and a janitior 9 years ago. Did a book report on Stephen King's book rage about a boy who shots his teacher and holds the whol class hostage. You guys probably don't care but I wanted to tell you.

Mmmm... I'm sorry.

I agree. I believe that Stephen King's books are a bad influence on people. And besides that, his stories scare me http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/outtahere.gif

Stephen King has expressed regrets about having written that book and I believe stopped any more printings of it.To dislike Stephen King as a matter of taste or opinon is anyones choice. To ban his books or worse yet to have someone else ban his books from your range of experience, especially without even seening for yourself is folly. The man has a great deal to offer and you should see for yourself. Read his book "On Writing". Nothing scary in that one and it will give you a good idea about who is, as nearly half of the book is a memoir.

I meant to stop off by the library and check out Salem's Lot, but I didn't have enough time to go to the library. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif

Some of his books scare me. I had to read his book "It", and that book scared the hell out of me, so I stoped reading it.

Sometimes you can cry until there is nothing wet in you. You can scream and curse to where your throat rebels and ruptures. You can pray, all you want, to whatever God you think will listen. And still, it makes no difference. It goes on, with no sign as to when it might release you. And you know that if it ever did relent, it would not be because it cared. ~Nny

Do you have any idea what's going on down there? Hideous things! People are suffering, and people like...well...me, heh, are running around!! Suicide, Genocide!! People are killing Moose!! You buy a video game system, and a better one comes out in a month!!! Powdered eggs?!!! Self esteem is so low, girls are buying wonder bras!!! Do you see!? Do you? ~Nny

Hey, a lot of Bonnie Bedelia movies have been based on Steven King novels such as Needful Things and Salem's Lot. So I read those books and saw the movies. And The Shining. She wasn't in that but I still love it, it's my favorite Steven King book.

Kate: You're not seeing clearly Jinny, no one can see clearly through a bottle of booze.

Holy Bedelia!--Lol Lisa

Bonnieness--Again, LOL Lisa

Jinny: Captain, can I speak freely?
Kate: When haven't you.
Jinny: When are you gonna get off my ass??
Kate: Maybe when it's not on backwards.

Kate: Lucky for you I'm not a hardass.
Angela: You are.
Kate: If I was a hardass I'd have both your badges.

My favorite Stephen King movie is The Running Man, but I've never read the book (which he wrote under the psuedonym Richard Bachman.)

Is that the one that had the movie made about it? Is it about a clown? If thats it.. then I think the movie is pretty scary .. never read the book though.

Yeap, it's the one about clowns. I've never seen the movie, but I've heard about it and I wouldn't want to see it.
