Anyone here ever have the wine they call two buck chuck? Named so because of it's price, and it's supposed to taste as good as some of the big names. So anyone had it?

I've never had it, but my husband said it's a good wine for the money. My brother is a manager at Trader Joe's Market, and told me that Two Buck Chuck flies out the door. They have a hard time keeping it in stock.

Yeah it's only sold at Trader Joe's I believe. I drove out to one yesterday which is pretty far from where I live (hour or so). So I bought a few bottles to try out. There were at least 2 people there who picked up whole cases when I was there. BTW it's 3.39 chuck here lol. Not two buck!

ive never heard of that one, BUTTT back in the day i used to be quite familiar with
99 cent liquor
HA HA HA
Is the name "Two Buck Chuck" supposed to sound inviting? Because that doesn't sound appetizing to me. Any cheap wine I've ever had has made me want to "chuck."

Well the wine is Charles Shaw, and it costs 1.99, little more on the east coast. It's not bad at all for the price, but Im no wine connaisseur.

One of the news magazine shows did a piece on Shaw and TBC a couple of years ago. I want to say 20/20.

I don't think my wife would find it too romantic if I opened up a bottle of "Two Buck Chuck" on our anniversary...
