Tornado

A tornado has been spotted near here. I'm turning off my computer until this storm has passed. Don't know when I will get on again. Then again, don't know when I'll get home. I'm still at work. I'm trying to wait it out here, or at least wait until the rain lets up a bit.

Oh well, talk to y'all later.

Well, the storm finally passed. A tornado touched down just outside of town. This storm was pretty bad. Lightening struck the refinery in the next town and started a fire.

It was hailing and raining REALLY hard. We had hail the size of softballs here. I work about 5 minutes from my house, and it took me over 20 minutes to get home because all of the roads were flooded. I am SO glad I have a truck.

I haven't heard much about the tornado, I hope it didn't cause too much damage. I believe it just touched down in a field, but I'm not sure. I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

Well, the good news is that THAT tornado didn't do any damage. However, the tornado that hir yesterday totally destroyed a ranch. 1 person was home, but he is fine. The wife broke down when she arrived home to find her house in a pile of rubble.

The rain just won't stop falling. It has been raining pretty constantly since Wed. It is raining again this morning. I have my very own lake in my back yard now. Hopefully it'll stop soon, otherwise, we'll just float away down here http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

THe football games this weekend should be interesting. The highschool plays tonight and the college plays tomorrow. The highschool is going to tear up that field with as bad as it's been raining lately. We are going to be having mud games down here.
