It was always a great site to type in an actor and see what episodes or movies the actor is in for the month. Now, the site has been purchased (I guess from Tony Bray) by TV GUIDE and they have ruined it. Oh yes, the interface looks slicker - but the content is very general and lacks the comprehensive listings the old site had. For example, you could type in "And Griffith" and it once listed everything (and I mean everything) he was in over the course of the current month. It listed the episodes of The Andy Griffith Show, Matlock, etc. TV-Now did this for all name actors. Now, it's all very, very general missing 95% of the things the actor is in. TV GUIDE ruined TV-NOW.com and I guess Tony didn't care what they did with it. Maybe he got a job along with the deal, I don't know. But if he did, he needs to change it back to the site so many of us loved -- as the site now lies in ruins. It is HORRIBLE. Give us back the old TV-Now.com!!!

I haven't even been there in awhile but I just checked it out and you're right. It went to a TV Guide.com page and my computer can't access tv guide.com because it goes to slow. I guess like TV Tome I've lost another great website.

UGH that's awful, having to scroll down a freaking mile. It was better to just type in the name

You still can! (at least for now)...the search box is right above the long list of names. This recent acquisition by TV Guide probably means this familiar older engine won't be updated for long. I know this: The new one at the main TV-Now.com site is awful. I hope this old search engine many of us loved can be maintained there - or even at a new site - if TV Guide doesn't keep it up. The current "old style" star-search is current through November 18th. We'll see what happens after that.
